Before I say more .. some sad news .. one of our dear FmXt from Perm, Siberia in Russia, Zhenya, lost her Father yesterday. Zhenya has been a regular even before the blog started and has always addressed me as Pitaji .. a father. She is a spunky little girl and has loved India and Indian culture. From whenever I could remember, she celebrates all the festivals and never forgets to send me greetings on those days. Some early year photographs of my visit to Russia have been courtesy her. I want Zhenya to know that we are with her in her sorrow and grief and our prayers are with her..
You are a brave girl Zhenya .. and God will remain with you ..
I could not resist doing this. It was troubling me and so I came back from a very early bed time to an early enough bed time to express our solidarity with a member of our fraternity.
And below now some visuals of the afternoon function -
Peace and harmony are more important than confrontation and controversy. The elements that guard the former are stronger and of greater value than the latter. Most of the time those involved in the 2 C’s have nothing whatsoever to do with the issue or the individual. They are guilty of fanning hatred and are therefore in my eyes worse off than those actually involved. If one can broker peace to end either C, that step needs to be taken immediately and will as will be seen bring result.
Many a time, those that prod and push and deliberately indulge themselves in an issue are themselves guilty of the accusation. Unable to act what they preach themselves, they look for scapegoats. Someone to hang the blame on. Not realizing of course that in doing so they prepare their own noose. Hang well dear friends !! And hang long !! Sometimes the rope round the neck takes a bit longer than usual to stifle the air that we breathe. But, do not also ever imagine that the rope shall get loose enough to escape. Once the noose is in, it remains in !!
A bit morbid for this time of the night and certainly not welcome on this blog. But in life there will be times when you need to spell it out !!

I am calling you ‘Sir’ because you are neared to God and very much similar to God. Sir, may be that this is not the place to write what I am trying to write here, but Still I hope that you would read and give your comment.
Sir, I have done Civil Engineering from REC, Bhopal in 1997, have worked for 10 years with NHPC and for past 2 years in EIL, New Delhi. But I have never been a Civil Engineer by heart, but a very soft, delicate and thoughtful Poet. I have not gone in the field of writing long stories but have passion to write Prose and short Poetries. In Hindi, I have written many Kavitas, Ghazals by heart and of lengths.
Not because I seek any help from you, but because I know that a person of your calibre (himself a living legend, and son of great great Sh. Harivansh Rai Sir) can really tell me rightly, if I write really good; I am writing below some of my own written 8-10 lines. If you can please spare your most valuable 5 minutes to read these lines and give me your (really invaluable, for me) comments over them, I will be ever grateful to you Sir. These go as :
Phir ek baar bhula hai Karn ko Kunti ne,
Phir ek baar Kaikeyi ne maanga hai Ram ko Vanvaas
aur phir ek baar vivash huwe hain Pandav,
Chhal ka shikaar ban, raajya chhodne aur jaane ko adwaitwaas
Ye jhooth ka mithak kabhi tootata kyon nahin,
Satya ye naalaayak kabhi jeetata kyon nahin,
Sabhi sirf nek hon, bhale hon, aisa ho sakta kyon nahin,
Kab tak haran hoga maa Seeta ka, Raavan kab tak karega attahaas,
‘Yada-yada hi dharmasya….’ phir kyon kaha gaya shaashtron mein,
Baar-baar main janam lunga, kyon kaha Paarth-Sarathi ne,
Kitne hi Bhasmaasur, kitne hi Kans roz khade hanste samaaj mein,
deen-heen sa rota Maanav, phir bhi chamatkaar ki usko aas..,
Hey Ram, abki na jao Vanwaas ko tum,

Bachchan Sir, I know it is not easy for you to respond to everybody like me. And I request you to not to respond me either. But, only if you feel that I have also written really like ‘everybody’. If you feel that I have written something different and that too differently, just acknowledge me. Your acknowledgement would be more than someone else’s blessings for me.

Cannot believe your fascination for the mundu now..lol..
The phones will be ringing off its hook and the lines will be jammed. There will be a few million having one sided talks and romancing the phone. Voice blog for FMXT is an exciting prospect, wish we could all video conference in too via a dedicated ABEF satellite. Imagine you in a hi tech centre (Houston), with a few hundred screens around you and you can see all of us. You should assign a number to each caller and take questions. Maybe 5 a day for a minute each. Lets hope this happens. What a revolution this would be. You would be able to see the mysterious EF from the blog.
Had a hectic day, sneaked into the National Gallery and spent a little time there, it was just not enough. Got to go again now for dinner and caught up on the blog in between. I wrote on the iconic Tendulkar earlier today -

You mentioned Peace and harmony are more important than confrontation and controversy, and it is very true. However it also depends on how much the controversy or confrontation will impact individual or their values or families… Lets take the media for example, all ready to spread controversysand looking for confrontations just to get some TRPs… Anyways at the end of the day if one can find peace with themsleves and take it to others I am sure we would be in a better world…

Yesterday i wrote something about u reciting of ur father’s lines but i forgot at that moment the name of the poetry. But luckily in the afternoon when i heard your voice in TV with that ambience and power it rushed into my mind”MADHUSALA”. I am not sure whether u read this or not. But anywz I want to thank u sir first of all for being getting into a Keralite style and making people know that Kerala is really God’s Own Country and secondly for filling in our heart and senses with that great lyrics. When people are not capable of greatness themselves they resort to confrontation and controversy. It gives them a semblance of control. Fools that they are, they do realise that - this is like a spinning wheel that even though they commenced, they cannot end it.
Its always about Control. To be in a dominant position over everybody else. The feeling to be omnipotent. The God syndrome.
I understand your frustration against people who indulge in such vagaries. How can they not fathom, that in spinning that wheel they themselves are caught in it.
If only people spent their energy for peace and harmony. If only….

Dearest Zhenya
I know how tough it actually is to console someone.. especially when it comes to console him or her on the death of someone who has been responsible for one’s own life on this earth.. whatever people may say.. Mother and father are always going to remain as important as God and the kind of upbringing that we as human race have witnessed only very rarely we come across someone who could really repalace their place.. I don’t know how or what should I say.. I came to know about the death of your dear father in the morning.. I could only muster strength to come forward to strengthen you now at the fag end of the day.. I know my dearest friend and sister would not take it to mean anything as weakness on my part.. I have been hearing and undergoing some such bad news for quite sometime.. I wish that if God exists he gives strength to all his children on the earth who have to undergo the torment of loosing their mother or father.. I have been knowing and believing that it is mother who is more important as a friend for the man and father is more relevant for the girls in this world.. Please have courage to face the world as your best friend has left you.. I can only pray for you a bright future.. I know, How I suffered for some ten years at the death of my mother in 1981.. I can only understand your agony and pain.. yet friend have courage and face the world boldly..You have in brother a very good and equally important friend..
I wish I could translate the above poetry into English for the benefit of not only you but also several non-Hindi speaking friends (Oh! sorry! I forgot that you do understand quite a bit of Hindi!!!)..

I haven’t been able to communicate with you through this medium for the past few days… After the good news from my end (related to the birth of my 1st child ‘DHRITI’ on the 13th of January ‘10), some shocking and sad news, the death of my Father-in-Law last week, back home in India. That’s facing the reality of Life, happiness and sorrow go hand-in-hand. Being here in the US and having a 3 wk old child, it has been very difficult for my wife to come to terms with this harsh reality of life. But she’s holding her fort, stronger than ever before thanks to my lovely daughter ‘DHRITI’… During these hard times, this little wonder of God has been able to give strength to her mother and her family members back home(through the internet) even though she cannot utter a word.
My condolences to Zhenya and her family, I pray to God that her Father’s Soul Rest in Peace… and peace to all who care… Hey Brave girl, as I mentioned earlier, its now time for Happiness to follow… hang in there….

I had a question on my mind. You have been acting and rendering many characters on screen. Long time back (just when Channel V was introduced in the country - I guess I was around 15-16 then), Channel V was asking people and surveying as to whom they thought was the biggest superstar in Bollywood. Many people said many names - some prominent ones were yourself, Mr. Rajesh Khanna sir, Mr.Duleep Kumar sir etc but one answer stood out and still remains fresh in my mind. This gentlemen said, there was no real superstars in Bollywood. The singers made superstars - he went on saying Mukesh made Mr. Raj Kapoor famous, Rafi saaheb made Mr.Shammi Kapoor famous and Kishore Da was responsible for the stardom status of Mr.Rajesh Khanna, Mr.Dev Anand and even Mr.Amitabh Bachchan. This comment is still fresh in my mind and I feel he had some authenticity to his comment. Sir, with all due respects, I would like to know your thoughts on this comment made by the gentleman on TV around 14-15 years ago.
As I am a fairly new addition to this blog the reason I decided to take part is because I am always looking for group of people who have a common interest and share ideas and dialogue about many subjects. But the one thing i find most intriguing is the bonding of relationships forged over time. The internet can be and is a vast wasteland w
here anyone can be anything they want to be. Very rarely is there an opportunity to participate on levels attached to one such as Mr B.
The age groups vary (which is a good thing) and the responses and comments are the reflection of many people and personalities.
When some one hurts, we all feel, when some one is happy , we rejoice, and when someone is negative , we all laugh or give them the boot (in a nice way)
all this being said( and I am not a writer) it is good that we can do this and that Mr B (although I have never met him) shares with us on this side of the monitor his thoughts and life. In this day and age it is becoming not so much unusual but almost the norm. Like Karan Johar remarked about Twitter..’it is his therapy’..well so be it..we all must be in ‘therapy’ .
As for the rope analogy ..must husband used to remark about ‘giving one enough rope to hang themselves” but not too short to yank it back. And the other one ‘ being hung by ones own petard’.
One writer penned ‘Vengance is mine saith the Lord,I shall repay”. I believe that wholeheartedly. And in another place..”Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God”.
In my mind, anyone who participates in the furtherance of Peace is shining the beacon of Hope where there might not be one. ‘And Hope will not disappoint us’.
My sympathies to our Russian friend , for we all experience loss and can show compassion.

“Aman Ki Asha” is a great initiative and those that initiated it need be applauded for their ever optimistic view towards the issues. I am happy your father’s poetry is being used for a greater cause and it’s bringing you an immense joy and pride to present it.
I do agree with you when you talk about 2C’s and relevance of peace and harmony today. Age old virtues can never be won over and if they are denied, their importance will only grow with time.
I, however, have come to believe that patience is a virtue only when it’s not overdone. Too much tolerance sometimes is a sign of weakness.
The kindness and drive for peace have now gotten to a numbness point among common people. This is bad. When innocents are being punished for their innocence, it’s worse than the issue itself. Real issues are not with people like you or me that believe in the values and wish for peace. When attacks like 26/11 happen, we pause, close the doors and move away for a while only to regain momentum with another process, we are doing that for past 60+ years, a train ride or a kavi-sammellan or a sports event or something else.
Unless the patient and disease are treated, there can’t be a cure, no matter how much medicine we consume for their sake. If we don’t confront the issue, acknowledge where it lies, how can we resolve it? How can we think of living with peace and harmony, in real world, with real people and real issues? Confrontation is not bad when end result is healthy and positive and those “involved” must confront it to bring peace and harmony home.
About “controversy”, you have already said enough. Why even bother now? rest well.

Dancer and activist Mallika Sarabhai has said she was told that actor Amitabh Bachchan had his own personal interests in becoming the brand ambassador for the State of Gujarat.
Speaking at a meet-the-press programme here on Tuesday, Ms. Sarabhai, who was here to perform on the inaugural day of the Malabar Mahotsavam, said Mr. Bachchan had three specific reasons. “I was told by a Gujarat Government official that Mr. Bachchan wanted tax exemption in Gujarat, free land for his film city and a Rajyasabha seat for his wife Jaya Bachchan, who may not be able to represent Uttar Pradesh with the change in political equations there,” she said. “The Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi appointed Mr. Bachchan, who is not a Gujarati, probably because there was nobody worthy enough in the State to be its brand ambassador.”
She said she had a great time contesting the last Lok Sabha polls against L.K. Advani at Gandhinagar. “I could make both Mr. Modi and his Congress rival (Suresh Patil) campaign harder,” she said. “I saw the candidates making a mockery of the modal code of conduct on several occasions, but my complaints were ignored.”
Ms. Sarabhai said art was the greatest tool for social activism.
“From my experience, I have learnt that it is art that could bring about the greatest impact in people’s minds,” she said. “People do not like to be preached, but they would care to watch any programme that would entertain them. With those programmes, we could send our messages to them, as I have often done.”
She said Kerala should seriously look into the issue of its young women being married off to men in Haryana. “There is dire shortage of brides in Haryana because of female foeticide there, so the men come to Kerala and marry a girl, who often would be the wife of three or more men in the family,” she said. “It is slavery. The Kerala women are forced to marry a man who does not speak her language because her family does not have the money to get her a husband in her own State. I do not know why Kerala has copied the dowry system from Northern India.”

All the visuals are stunning as ever, I had seen the Aman Ki Asha ones earlier. But you look very dapper in the cream suit and purple tie too.
Incidentally, the top picture in black and white is one that embellishes the wall at the top of my staircase. It’s a framed picture of three still shots of the same pose taken at different angles and its just beautiful. A true work of modern art! I adored the neutral colours which compliment the white and cream décor in my home. So, that is one of your permanent residences within my abode.

I have to say that the stage setting was wonderful! The rich red settee with those gold pillows was so lush and the clustered deep red glass lamps made the stage seem almost intimate…most striking of all though, was that beautiful red and blue/purple (?) decorated wall behind the stage! That was exquisite!
Mr. Bachchan, leave it to YOU to wear just the right thing to complement it all…you were a vision to behold…the entire scene was perfection!

You have mentioned about cultural ethos in Maharashra, West Bengal and in southern parts of the country. I, in Delhi used to think that while people of these states have inclination towards fine arts, most Punjabis have no interest in preservation and propagation of our great heritage. I was wrong till I attended the 134th Swami Harivallabh Sangeet Samaroha at Jullundar in January 2010. It transpired that most of the youngs were learning /performing Indian classical music in and around Jullundar/Amritsar. Majority of businessmen in that region have been listening to the great masters of Indian classical music since many decades and have become the ‘Kaansens”.
Poetry, particularly in Delhi is very much alive. I am fortunate to live in the area (Pandara Road, India Gate) which is at walking distance from India International Centre, India Habitat Centre, Kamani Auditorium, Rabindra Bhavan, Mandi House, Hindi Bhawan, Punjabi Bhawan, Triveni Kala Sangam, etc. where on every alternate day, poetry sittings are held and attended by lot of poets and poetry lovers.
While there are 2 Cs dear to some in the society, there are many who are devoted to spreading joy and love to all and one of them is very near to us, the great Big B who is determined to find ways to reach everyone and share his positivity with all around. God bless you.

He protests that she and his father are always listening to the radio and she replies “It’s different. Our lives are ruined already.” In Julie Kavner’s deadpan style it’s devastatingly funny! Needless to say, I think the your rumors of ruin are greatly exaggerated!!

I liked your comments about the 2 Cs.You put it up in the right way.True the 2 Cs only bring harm and are non productive.But what to do in today’s world people voluntarily get involved in the 2Cs for some selfish motives.But all this is short term.In the long run it is only peace and harmony which is valued and is productive.

Dear Amitabh Sir,
I actually dont know how to address you as I look at you with tremendous amount of respect and this ‘looking at you’ is going on since 1978, when i was in one of the colleges in Juhu, mumbai n from where your car used to pass by every day at 9.00 in the morning. Though our college was starting at 10.00 we had a group of girls who would everyday wait for just one glimpse of yours at 9.00 n then proceed for our classes. As it was a girl’s college and since so many of us were standing there everyday we thought atleast one day you wud look at us n wave out at us but inspite of doing it for three years everyday except for sundays you never looked at us n the best part was we wud get news about your whereabouts from one of your door securities who was staying in one the girl’s (frm our group)housing colony!!!! After three years we waited outside your bunglow for three hours for a glimpse of you as we were told that u were at home ……. meanwhile we got a chance to have a look at Jayaji when she went out with Shweta n Abhishek as kids…. n then the real drama started…we got o know that the “DON’ is coming out!!! The first thing what we did is told one girl from our group to not to faint after seeing you as she wud always faint in any excitement n believe me Sirji when you came out she immediately fainted and fell down n none of us could even look at your car!!!!
After all this I got married to a man whom I loved and liked and with his influence I got many chances to see you (here dont want to say ‘meet’ coz I will not know what to talk to you if i meet you) but I havent accepted any coz I dont know how will I react n moreover I just want to keep this as the utmost achievement of my life….. it will be something like seeing God (believe me sirji I mean it)… now that I am settlled in Dubai I hope to see you one day in my life.. but till then I will read your blog everyday … whichever part of the world I am in…

The “BOL BACHCHAN” is a fantastic idea for all AB fans, to fulfill some of their wishes by listening to ur voice on mobile.Even the concept of “HAPPY VOGGING” sounds cool !

I am submitting my comment for Feb 9 once again as I wrote it pretty late than my usual time & I sincerely hope u read this…
The most enchanting evening of my life. That’s how I would like to describe my experience of your poetry recitation at “Aman ki Asha” concert .
But it all began as a roller coaster ride for me. I casually smsed for a complimentary pass as per an ad in TOI on sun night. On Monday afternoon, I got a msg that I can collect my pass by 4pm. But I had to leave the office for the rest of the day, the only way out was to lie, which I did. But somehow couldn’t leave till 3 pm bcoz the client was bang on time at 2pm
There was no way that I could make it to Fort(TOI) from Royal Palms (Goregaon) by 4pm. I managed to reach only by 4:25 pm. I was told the time is over. All hopes crashed !
I was crestfallen, I lied, reached late & I missed the only opportunity of my life to watch u perform live. Still, I rushed to Bandra Fort hoping that someone might have an extra pass.
On reaching there I made some failed attempts, but one kind soul gave me a pass. That was my passport to see u perform !!
Once again hopes rekindled, & with pride I entered the gates.
It was my first experience at a poetry recitation, which I shall cherish for the rest of my life. The stage , the ambience, the mood everything was poetry by itself. The recitation by Zia Moyeddin was beautiful, though I must confess that I am not at all well versed in Urdu apart from some odd Pak Tv plays that I have seen. So , most of the meaning went over my head.But I loved the rythmn of the words that flowed.Urdu by itself is a kind of language which has a sweetness, u don’t understand but u love listening to it.
Finally you came on stage, after being lovingly introduced by Jaya ji,the moment u entered till the time you left the stage, it was completely mesmerizing, I just stood still. The only other sound that I heard
was that of the waves when u took a pause. Each one of the poems that u recited were known to me but I was spellbound by the fact that I was actually watching you perform LIVE !
The strength of the voice, each & very emotion that was conveyed made the moment intoxicating. Your Father’s soul must be surely at peace & content.One more thing that kept me surprised was that even though the writing were
50 yrs old at least but they still have the significance, relevance & impact as they must have had when they were penned.
I would sum up my experience by saying that yesterday evening I finally found my MADHUSHALA …

Have missed connecting with you the past 4 days and feeling good to finally catch up with all you , dear Sir , have been up to .
We got back from Dahanu yesterday and it felt like stepping out of a quaint world,a quaint way of life . A jolt from the past into the present . Dahanu , with its lush orchards of mango,chikoo,jamun ,citrus fruits, berries , towering palms of coconuts,smaller ones of ‘tadgolas’ with pots tied to their tops to receive the early morning sap , neera, sweeter than honey . Ah ! the benevolence of Nature , in all its bounty was such a zen - like experience . The local indigenous people , the adivasis , go about their daily toils in the farms , the men folk out at sea in their boats , living in little shanty huts along the shore , all seem to exist in a different time-space realm.The adivasis are now an ‘ endangered species ‘ as one local was saying .” One can’t mess with them anymore ” .
The reception for the newly weds was a pleasant event.It seemed like the entire town had turned up. I made straight for the buffet as soon as it was deemed polite and gorged on delicacies from ‘ Dilli to Kanyakumari ‘.
In India it was/is customary for the new bride to ‘pass’ a test . In Bengal , it seems, the new bride is/was handed a live fish and had to create a meal out of it. In Northern India the bride is made to cook a particular delicacy.
Well, our new bride passed the ultimate test .On the way back ,on the expressway to Pune, we had a burst tire .No sweat .The newest member of our family ,with her delicate bejewelled ,henna’d hands was down on her feet changing tires amidst calming my nephew and maintaining a good sense of humor.Very impressive indeed, wouldn’t you say ?
Well I have just a few more days here . Will spend my last day in Mumbai ,meeting old college friends and will also visit the Kala Ghoda festival. Then it is off to home. My second home. Or is it home away from home?

I just came back from the obligatory walk to the boardwalk and the beach in the beginning of the predicted snowfall. It is a loud crunchy snow under my sneakers.
I’m wishing that those lucky enough to hear your voice on their phone may inform us foreigners of the content of your message every day here. It will not be the same as hearing your comforting voice but at least we won’t be left in the dark.
I saw the clip of Aman Ki Asha (what does that mean?) posted by Satyam and was mesmerized for even a few seconds, especially with your singing.

The photos today are just amazing. See what black, white and sepia can do to photography. Thanks. The first photo is truly an artist’s delight.
I read the other day that the photographer who shot Kaagaz Ke Phool was honored; and believe me; I was really touched by that. One can do all the tricks with colors, digicam, zoom lenses, fish eye lens etc. etc, but that effect of a lone person on a chair / the beautiful lady in white - with the sunlight streaming in….one can actually see the specks in the atmosphere….is just beyond any awards and accolades.
Even today we have film using rather gaudy/ flashy and loud colours…and that just about kills an otherwise public opinionated good film. Anyway…must restrain from writing more than necessary.
BTW, I havent figured out what Bachchan Bol is about …I mean what is the scope and the objective…I guess I will have to figure that out myself in time.

My gradfather could read,write,speak and understood urdu. My father could only speak and understand.I am able to only understand urdu and I am sure none of my daughters can understand. That’s the way it is going.Let us hope some ‘chamatkar (no pun)’ will take place.

BTW all the photos are very nice and the set, the properties used to decoarte the stage compliment very nicely with the open air environment. I could just imagine the feel of the atmosphere there,The lamps, the pillows,your attire, the environment,the sitting arrangement and style everything compliments eachother and moreso the poetry of your father in your voice is just so very wonderful…I am not surprized that the people who have attended this show must have felt so very blessed. You are genius my dear.

I am reminded of a ghazal here, the ‘matla’ (the opening couplet)and ‘makta’ (the last stanza, generally including the poet’s pen-name) of which I would like to share with you here…..

Dear Amitji, Good Afternoon. Sent my condolensces to Zhenya on the facebook. Many of us on the blog who now know each other prefer to communicate on the facebook. The long list of friends acknowledged by Kashmiraji after her blog posting covers many who chat on a daily basis.
Infact there are times when we try and predict the subject of next blog posting. However our predictions sometimes come closer. The hangman’s noose you are talking about is beyond my reach to understand. Something disturbing may be but can be kept aside.
You would be talking on Vogging and must be a different experience. Hope we can talk one to one sometimes. It would be a nice experience. Zhenya did her best to motivate me to search your 1972 photograph with me and Jayaji. Someone seems to have kept it very secured and I still can’t find it. Now a days one can scan it and post a link for everyone to see. Time changes no one looks at albums with corners pasted.

If the electronic’s coverage is accurate, your reference to peace and harmony at the ‘Bachchan Bol’ event relates to the media fanning the flames from the recent controversies in Mumbai. And indeed it ignited to near uncontrollable ends!
Stirring issues to create a debacle forms yet another conglomerate of this concept of irresponsible reportage, owing to a drive for commerce. We cannot pretend to be surprised at the way in which the issue was handled; neither am I surprised you are continuously cajoled for comment at every given public opportunity. But deflecting focus towards peace and harmony was utterly your most honest and heartfelt response; alas if only more in the world followed suit.
Of course, peace and harmony is mankind’s eternal quest in life, we are programmed to crave it in our environment and within our person. Yet most fall short when controversy comes their way. Confrontation or verbal riposte are also natural responses to controversy, albeit derivative of the baser instincts of human nature. It takes a lifetime to perfect the will power or self control required to ’turn the other cheek’ and offer that peaceable handshake. But I always say, we should never concede defeat to the endeavour to try.
I’m not fond of your morbid hangman analogy, so I’m ignoring it in favour of pleasant topics. The mesmerising ambiance at Bandra Fort was so tangible through the TIO’s clips on YouTube. And I have to say, your melodic rendition of Madhushala was crystal clear, crisp and infinitely sweeter than the one I usually listen to from some years ago. That privileged audience must have been floating on air! Its never quite been apparent why you choose not to sing your own songs in movies. They do you a huge disservice at times by substituting with rough, raspy and coarse voices. Your own harmonious dulcet tones are more professional and melodious, in my humble opinion.
Wishing you a beautiful day of peace, harmony and productivity. I sincerely hope the schedule does not regain momentum to a frenzied pace again. Saying that, the Teen Patti involvement has been relatively quiet recently.

It pains to no end to hear all young and old actors (except you and couple of others) answering in English to the questions posed in Hindi. If they feel so ashamed to speak Hindi, why don’t they stop working in Hindi cinema?
It has always been great pleasure to hear you speaking ’shudh Hindi’. Hope you will motivate other fellow Indians, inside and outside film industry, to feel pride in their language, which has such a wealth of literature, lying unexplored and ignored!

i heartfelt condolences on your irreversible loss. there are actually no words to sooth a grieving heart. it is the passage of time and encouragement from family and friends that sails one through. i speak this from self experience. as i have earlier written on this blog i lost my husband exactly one month ago that is on 9.1.2010 in a road accident. i wrote here without even knowing what blogging was all about. i had never ever written in this or any other blog earlier. it was just that like millions around the globe i had that feeling of belongingness with amitabh uncle. and i got so much supportive words and encouragement from so many people here who had never known my name until then. valorie, archana, margaret, vijaya, jasmine jayawant and many others took heed of my writing and kept responding.
in this space you have such a huge family and friends with amitabh uncle being at the head of it all that you will surely never feel lonely. not at any hour of the day. one can see that this space is open 24/7. hence one is never alone.

However, the cost of Rs 6 per minute is very large and will put off many people. You should have a downloadable version on your website. This can be in addition to the mobile version which can be used by people for their convenience.
My mother currently does not follow your blog. She cannot keep up with the large amount of written information. I am sure that she will follow a voice blog.

I am here to say few words due to which I am unable to sleep tonight.First I went on the website of shiv sena (Saamna) but couldnt find where to leave comments.So I had took this decision express my feelings for the peoples of bihar and u.p who are sufferers over there in mumbai and maharastra.
1.Bala is boodhi bakri uddhav after his failure in politics is trying to become funsukh wangru and raj is luccha lafanga and badmash I dont think these three idiots in real life ever would have met with a tiger as they be seated on tigers chair.bakri ko sher kha jayega agar samne sach me aaya to.lovely
2.They are making people of bihar and up drag out of the state but ! poor and weak people only.why dont they try it on rich people.what if our north indian states bycott the products manifactured in mahastra made and what if we cut the supply of coal to maharastra.Whenever I asked my mom “tell me whom of us (my brother and me) you love more she always replies beta tell me out of your two which eye is more loveable to you.means they do sleep in their cozy beds enjoy luxury car and delicious food but are taking away food of peoples who have hand to mouth situation at their homes.despite they could give poor people solution to peacefully leave mumbai they are beating .it is real insane for all our good indians starring the situation and non of us doing anything to grab them in their home.
3.phunsuk wangru says ‘if chavan wishes he can take away all his personal security” if he is really a big wangru why does he comments he should give up his protection.rat is always safe in his s-hle.
4.these people will never be forgot for their sins and shiv shankar will punish them soon.they dont fear shiv shankar ji (bholenath) seems they have lost their fait in him.i dont think they know something about sudama (krishna bhagwans friend) a poor one how could they attack helpless people thousands of km away home they have lost their mental balance.no one in polotics have got gust to tackle the situation with proper law and order.itni nafrat hai kasab se then why dont you grab him in jail and cut into peices.I will back you mr bakri.
5.budha bakri is opposing paki players in ipl i do agree with him but what is the fault of srk if i say this yeah paki should be allowed in ipl who is going to cull my head and tear me off.bcoz he has failed in elections against luchha lafanga and badmash he is trying to get his base back by cheap politics.
6.kasab verses srk: mr phunsuk wangru just wearing kurta and payjama dosent mean you are a netaji i tell you your wholefamily is a bunch of cowards util they have got support of some political leaders from congress you might not perform this nudity in mumbai.sorry its bombay bombay.i like calling it bombay.you will need to take 10 birth to earn money and fame waht srk has mr bakri.you know you have become sathiyana (one who crosses 60 of age) better take old age home so in near future when maratha population will rise yr childrens will throw you out of yr home.
7.around 10 years back bakri got arrest warrant from high court he became small bakri that time where was marathi manus.jab apni lanka me aag lagti hai to sacha manus ban jaate ho meow meow bolte ho court ke orders pe .now again you need some punishment in all you cowards poor killers.
8.we made you (maharastra) keep that in mind and still we rule mumbai and will rule mind it.

Fortunately for me, my parents had not force fed me on a diet of Bollywood. Now I am older, I see many indians blindly following the likes of SRK, while ignoring the plight of Hindus in their own country so that there distorted vision of the Khan universe holds true.

I have been a great fan of you since my kid days. Just want to narrate an incidence in my life when I was a child. I always admired you as an actor ( Earlier films till mid 80’s). Liked your natural performances then-Mili, Abhimaan, Namak Haram, Benaam, Do Anjaane, Majboor, Zanjeer, Manzil, Kabhie Kabhie,etc
As an Indian, am disappointed with your love for our enemy country and its residents. Victims of 26/11 have not yet got justice. Terrorists are openly declaring Jihad against India on the streets of Lahore. This Government elected by the Pakistanis is pushing in infiltrators and conniving with China to propogate terror.
How ever I understand your predicament-you do not want to lose out on your fan base even if it means disrespecting fellow Indians by not standing up for justice.
You stood up for Indians when you refused the doctorate. This made news and made the Australian government take notice. Why then, when it mattered most did you accept the Aman peace project. I now realize and so have many Indians that when it comes to money, fame one can get compromised.
I sincerely hope you take a poll on this on your blog and most of the Indians wil want you to quit the Aman peac e project with the terrorist country Pakistan.
