I didn’t like abhishek holding his arms horizontal in the other promo with paresh rawal. It doesn’t seem natural to hold your arms while talking but i guess it would be more relevant in the context of that shot. I couldn’t understand the dark space b/w abhishek and paresh rawal?

U look utterly adorable mr. B just feel like hugging u tight , Auro , I mean ;u know when i was a little girl we had a neighbour, a polio afflicted boy, Timmy ,as frail and utterly sweet, just like Auro, am reminded of him now. Passed away some years ago.

When we all saw the promo of Paa my mom couldn’t trust when i told her it was Mr Amitabh bachchan in the role of that weak & old child. I guess this itself explains the way u hv immersed ur self in the character.

Request… Pls do not create more hipe about PAA… as people will look for Extra-ordinary… above the sky performane… and even though if it is Best Movie … they will say “nahi itna bhi achcha nahi hai jitna likhate the.”… I fear about such lines. Kahi NAZAR na lag jaye.
Agnipath also created such hipe… receiving best comments on preview from all over.. but just “change of voice” is not accepted by some group and The Best Movie ever does not get what it deserve.

I have learnt a few things from the past few episodes of BB3:

She was here in Dhaka only for a week and its bad that due to her work-pressure she couldnt see much of the city.. but definitely we would be looking forward to more of her visits.. and like she mentioned in one of her interivews in dhaka that she found so much similarity between India and us that she felt awkward to term it as a different country.. well, what can we say, our history/roots are the same.. the boundaries were put because of political reason.. we take pride in our hospitality

Amitji, a lot of us are suprised that your previous post was dedicated to the media, that has been the cause of so much negative emotion within you over the past 40 years. Their lies, distortions of the truth, their boycott of you, the deliberate stabs in the back (Abhijit Majumdar being one of the latest in that category), their malicious gossipping, their maligning of you and your family, their fabricated stories — all were forgotten by you due to their outpouring of praise for PAA.
Your EF, on the other hand, who has been with you every single day, who have loved you unconditionally from day 1 of your blog, indeed your career, who have comforted you and stood by you and taken up swords and spears on your behalf, some of who have unfairly been called “sycophants” (by certain evil individuals disguised as your EF,) simply for loving you and criticizing the media on your behalf, who have prayed for you and thought of you as their ideal — all those 1,035 EF who poured their hearts out yesterday in response to PAA — no word for them? No post dedicated to them. No mention of them?
I sense a feeling of betrayal within the EF. It is like “sleeping with the enemy”. You do not need to, Amitji, you do not need to. The media will do it again, stab you again, malign you again, say nasty things about you again.
Your EF will be there again to comfort you.
I am hoping my comment will not be buried in the two hundreds today, and you will read it. Surely, the feelings of your EF are of some importance to you.

What I really could not understand how all of a sudden the husband wife have been on the list.. I wasn’t expecting it the way the game was progressing..

I know I may be wrong.. yet I somehow did not see much inspirational stuff from either Aditi or Poonam ji which could add some substance.. and is crying a virtue to be rewarded retention.. I was actually surprised that Rohit was not part of the eviction list.. a real surprise..

Yeah.. my first reactions on Paa.. It would be a different kind of film and even if it does not succeed as well as Deewar or Sholay so to say.. It would always be in the class of Abhimaan, Anand or Mili.. The subject appears quite an interesting aspect of the movie..
I have never ever seen the first day first show of any of your movies.. not even in seventies.. it was not possible for black-marketing.. the best for me was Silsila that I had seen at Aurora on the first day last show and that was my first day in Bombay..
I shall try to make some efforts to book the tickets for the first day first show.. nahi, nah, Paa ke premier par bhi main nahi aa paaonga.. abhi kuchh waqt lagega mujhe aapase ru-baroo hone mei.. I know inspite of heavy interest in being part of some celebration of the centenary (101st birthday) celebrations of Dr. Bachchan.. I may not be able to be there.. I know my limitations.. When I was in the fourth year of medical school someone in the cafeteria told me to see a patient of progeria in the pediatrics ward as I wouldn’t ever get a chance to see such a rare case ever again in my training period.
When I walked into the ward, to see this two year old suffering from progeria, I was shocked to see a wrinkled face, looking a decade older than my grandfather, with his face held in his hands- wearing an expression of carrying the world’s burden on his shoulders. It was a sight I never forgot.
This promo of Paa does something similar to me. The way you say Paa tugs at your heart.

But today i cant hold, how could u do it, how can u at the age of 68, play the role of a schoolboy, its unbelievable, the boy with its huge size how can it be so cute. I bow down 2 u, i was just thinking dat how aamir can play a role of IIT student at this age and then i saw dis……., which even greatest of great in world cinema cant even think of. When i first heard of PAA, dat u r playing son of Abhishek Bachchan, i thought that may be director has experimented nd with skills of modern make-up u will be playing 30+ and abhishek playing ur age. But…… i am with no words how 2 praise u, i just hope the film lives up to the expectations generated wid the promo. Also ur description of huge make-up, where u cant even move, how u actually acted. I think to call them celebrities is nonsense. They are all in Bigg Boss why ?
They are all so successful that BB3 needs them ? No. It’s the other way round. Their careers, if they ever had one is dead in the waters and to help them revive their popularity, such people revert to shows which demostrates their specialness or like abilty.
Raju is my favourite to win. He’s the only one that entertains but at nobody’s expense. He’s is funny and has never been nominated.

on TV and dont know what happens to u to see such cases in

Here I would like to mention an interview which I had read when I was going thru difficult time and had lost confidence in myself. This interview was published in Navbharat Times dtd. 09th Oct 2002. You talked about your days post ABCL failure and said that Dr. Harivanshrai Bachchanji used to say that if life goes as per your wishes it is good however if it does not it does not than it is better as it gives you a chance to analyse your drawbacks and improve upon them. This peace of advice not only helped me regain my confidence but also helped in resolving issues.

Jasmine Jaywant - I have an immense amount of sympathy with what you write. I think this is proof that we are now indeed FAMILY … and sometimes one takes the love of one’s family for granted.
It is nothing new for us to offer Mr Bachchan unconditional love and support… why most of us do it every single day. What is almost unprecedented is for the media to suddenly come over all huggy-kissy. It’s as alarming as a snake who suddenly stops spitting venom and starts wagging its tail and purring. No wonder Mr Bachchan is astonished at this media love-bombing!
I’m just happy if it bodes well for PAA - assuming that the media can sustain this viewpoint for a whole 26 more days!
I also think Jasmine from London made an excellent point yesterday. She noted that it is not individual members of the media who have negative feelings towards Mr Bachchan - many of them greatly admire and respect him on a personal level. But in the final analysis, they are driven by the demands of the media congolomerates who employ them, and who dictate the nature of the coverage. If they order their ‘troops’ to trash Mr Bachchan, then the journalists have to toe the party line - or lose their jobs. Poor Bloody Infantry, as they used to say in the army. I think Sharmila said something very similar yesterday - much more elegantly than me!

In these 10 secs i could actually feel the emotion of a child towards his parent. The innocence of child is well expressed. Also psyche of a child to fall back on his parents when he needs any kind of support, is well justified. No matter how old one become, he alway looks up to his parents.

Congratulations on winning the lifetime achievement award. You truly deserve it. Coming to Paa…it has been a tremendous effort by the entire team and in particular your new look has already generated a lot of buzz.
However I feel that Paa will not stike gold at the B.O as it does not have a universal appeal. It will be restricted to a handful of fans and mainly in the multiplexes. I can bet you that the same media guys who have congratulated you today will write a harsh review when it is released. I see a similar fate of Aladin here.

Dear Lion King,
The trailer that you posted has once again left me craving for more, but I think it is prudent not to release any more footage or ringside views about this movie and let the audience savor it completely on the release date.It is not easy to sustain excitement for a long time and 27 days at this stage is a long time. I wish the release date was a lot sooner or the promos were released shortly before the release date.
I am not sure how much more suspense could have been sustained if we kept that carton around your box and exposed only your eyes and nothing more except the same audio that you have on this trailer. It would have been great if the audience got to see the “full” you only on the release date and maybe an opportunity for the movie to gain a lot more momentum on the sensational front. Now trying to capitalize on the euphoria completely is possible by moving fast, a race against time.
Genuine cinema lovers would want to watch this movie at the theatre and so would the curious lot, but there is a breed which will be waiting to circulate it on the web.I am sure you and your team must be more than aware about the ifs and buts and you do not need this Cotton’s Parrot repeating it. I for one spoke about not being inundated in the number’s game and here I am talking about capitalizing on the current conditions. The euphoria can play havoc with the thinking!
Coming back to our good friends from the media, are they going to help you in a genuine manner for the next 27 days to sustain the sensation? If a doubt does exist, it is best not to reveal any further to them as they would be the first ones to judge the product ( adversely )even before it reaches the shelf and give it an expiry date.
We, your audience do not want to see an expiry date and would like to have diamond jubilee celebrations for Paa. We must bring back that era which has been lost forever and only this movie like Sholaay can live on.
I wish to savor this movie in it’s fullest form and for what it’s worth on 4th December, the literal “worth” being the emotions it brings in all of us and in you for making an incredible movie. There is no price attached to a good movie.
On a final note from this Cotton’s Parrot , the way you said ” paa ” in this trailer makes my heart weep.

Some from the EF have commented about feeling a sense of ” betrayal ” on not being thanked by you . I for one do not grudge you your moment of peace with and love for the media.
You have been so consistent in your love and dedication to EF . You thank us daily in your responses . You acknowledge us daily when you write us despite hectic schedules,illnesses and a thousand other matters that must be part of your life.
Your daily presence in our lives is a gift .
Hope EF does not get consumed by a ‘ barter system ‘ where everytime we give praise we have to receive thanks immediately.

My apprehension towards our new mates continue. This is what I had to say about it all on the last post. Sorry to repeat it but we do not want you to throw caution to the wind!!!
I do not want to spoil your moment in the sun with the media but if I do not express myself about them here then I will be labeled as a sycophant. I wish not to be.
The media has glorified you today and you thank them profusely for it, a commendable gesture. The media bashes you tomorrow and then you bash them back , again a commendable gesture. And we your EF will support you against them whichever side the wind blows? I am not sure about this one Sir.Some of us have spent a good amount of time and energy fighting them on this page for you and I cannot sing praises for their kindness today.It is not about forgiving and forgetting, it is about maintaining that tepid distance, getting too close or being too far out for that matter is not a smart choice.
The media have shown interest in an unusual manner because the product that they pursue is also unusual. The pursuit will help them immensely in their economics of circulation. Of course, they are needed to spread the word which makes good marketing sense but dedicating today’s blog to them is not symmetrical with my thinking here. But this is your blog and if your mind is not aligned with mine then I have little say in the matter.I do not have anything personally against the media empire as I am linked to one through my spouse, but I have been taking a stand against the press media in particular here because of all known reasons that we discuss on this forum.I hope the mutual admiration lasts for longer than we can hope for and it would pain me if they turn tides even sooner than we expect ( they do not come with a guarantee ).
Congratulations on the life time achievement award, I think it is a bit premature as it is in recognition of one’s career which has finished. Yours has just started and you are likely to be nominated for the debutant award as you were introduced just the other day. I cannot be happier with the responses and accolades that continue to shower on you from various quarters, but I was greatly moved by the responses from one quarter yesterday, from that of your extended family. The media responses pale in comparison.

I was an avid fan of your acting but now I am even bigger admirer of your writings. I am sure now onward I couldnt help myself eagerly following your blog entries. I really loved your work in “Black”, “Cheeni Kam” and “Shakti”, I could’nt forget your perfect acting in a few seconds scene in the movie “Kaante” when the character told you about the death of your wife! You proved to be a Maestro of the craft in that scene. the scene still is not vanished from my mind. I saw the trailer of “Paa” and was stunned to see you. you really can do ANYTHING when it comes to craft of acting. I am in love with the vibrant and refreshing music of the movie, its so reflective of the theme of the film!
I’ve shown the trailer to some of my friends here and they tried to compare it with “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” saying its a similar kind of story but I utterly disagree, first of all they cant compare the storyline of the two movies as Benjamin Button was going younger and younger with the passage of time in the movie but “Paa” is a story of the boy who suffers from progeria (Accelerated Ageing Disease). Second and most important thing is they cant compare your Acting with that of Brad Pitt!! How can they?!!! Your acting is peerless and uncompareable!!! You are the Master of your Craft!
Please accept my warmest wishes for the film and I am hopeful the movie will win OSCARS.

Then in that case, why did you twist Nina Arora’s simple comment all out of proportion? You didn’t even request your bloggers from abusing these journalists - people whom they had nothing to do with except via a misguided sense of loyalty towards a man who is not loyal to anyone. And now, at last they can see how you changed like a chamelion when it suited you! You were overcome by emotions when the media applauded? But the media is not a unified lump of dough. My litle son (he is two and a half) saw me watching through your pictures and videos in Youtube and asked whether you are his grandpa and when you come to visit us at last. We laughed a lot and said that you come to our home each time when we watch your movies. As to the question about grandpa, my husband answered “Dear, your mom loves Indian movies so much that probably this man is really your grandpa in some way” :))))
By the way, yesterday I looked through your filmografy and I was very pleasantly surprized with the number of your new movies coming out in the nearest time!!! For sure you have a strong engine inside! Many years and strong health!!!!

I wrote from the heart, as I sensed the disappointment and hurt of some of the EF, and reflected it back to him. I had not thought of these rational explanations that you, Jasmine of London and Sharmila have provided. True, Daisy, we do take the love of our family members for granted sometimes. The love the EF showers on ABji is unconditional — we do not expect anything in return, as such. Except maybe some gold every once in a while, and a meeting of course!!
And yet, at a moment like yesterday — when he was so, so happy, so overwhelmed by the response to PAA, and poised to accept the lifetime achievement award, his excitement and joy shared by all of us on this forum — to not be acknowledged for being there with him every step of the way — well, it kind of rankled a bit.

why do all indian movies have to be “inspired” by hollywood movie, like PAA..WHY DOES IT REMIND ME OF THE MOVIE “THE CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON” (i think thats wht its called, with brad pitt) Im sure it would be a good movie..but indians should be more original and creative with their movies and stop copying hollywood movies!! …just a thought… i think Amtabh B. is great… i just dont like his commercials on TV where he’s promoting..’itching creams…and pain relief creams…hes too good for that sort of stuff… i get dissapointed when i see him in those kind of ads… -Peace out !!

Your yesterday’s post (DAY 563) was gruesomely ridiculous. Your attempt to use the blog as a platform to market your film was something I found a bit too hard to accept. Your sudden switch over to party with the media and dedicate the DAY to them were something I found quite contradictory to the character of Amitabh Bachchan that I know.
I am also extremely sorry to say that most of the comments I read in DAY 563 are bordering sycophancy. As EF we take great pride in standing by Amit ji in all his good and bad days but that should not mean we should compromise our independent opinion.

At 61, I am just a shade younger to you and have grown up with you and your movies , drawing strength in fashioning my own personality from your characters . When you had that unfortunate accident and recovered , I had hoped you would come back in a new avataar , which you happily did with movies like Bagban and Crorepati etc . India was richer by your return , and today looks upto you with pride . You gave us mortal beings of your generation someone to look upto and draw strength from .
Now that Avataar 2 is over , Amitabh I find the BIG BOSS experiment to be a bit of a let down , it is simply not you ….you are too big for it ! Avataar 3 should be for the country . The final role Amitabh should play is in causes for improving this country . I know you abhor politics , but there is more you can do with the stature you have . Someone needs to talk to the people of India about global warming and pollution in practical terms . Someone like you needs to help the ordinary confused Indian to go back to the sense of dignity and self respect that one sees in the Indian of Mahabarata times , the Rajput who Col Tod talks of ! All and everywhere the media is writing good stuff. STRANGE.
But reading all that and more reading about PAA and the preview it is hair raising.
Salute to you. This is a WINNING CARD a straigh entry into every individual.
I sincerely hope and wish this move to be a breakthrough. I don’t care though if it breaks any records or achievements.
But I just want this movie to touch people hearts where everyone in the cinema hall feels the same emotion and make every cry and laugh on their respective scenes.
ABove all people when they come out leave their hearts inside the cinema hall.
So they have to come back again to get it.
Lets hope the best for this movie. Black did miracles I wish for this movie to do more than miracle.

Comments by commonsense at 249, the exact same comment at 265 with the “name” my name is khan, under which he has also ranted at Amitji earlier, crossing all limits, and now his comment is sitting above mine as I write at 286. He trashes Amitji, and then gets vicious with me — I am in eminent company!!
Regarding your question as to who he is: I have a feeling I know who he is. As he himself says at 286, it is someone who writes with his real name usually, but goes undercover to spew his venom. Obviously he is someone who has a personal beef with me. Each time, many, many others have written the exact same things I have (criticizing Abhijit Majumdar, or expressing what I did at 73 today), but he singles me out for lashing out at.
It is so sad to see this person’s twisted mind. Amitji has told us in clear terms not to get personal, but he just doesn’t get it. I feel bad I got drawn into his agenda, and in replying to him, stooped to his level.
I wish there was a way of keeping such sneaky people out of this sacred space, but apparently there isn’t. Even if the moderator were to block his id, he will just assume another and write hateful comments. He is just one of those people who can only feel powerful and important by pulling others down, and I am his chosen victim. I am so lucky.

I have to confess I have been very upset at my exchange with Mr. commonsense. I expect to be treated with respect, and this person crosses all bounds of decency and gets viciously personal. I believe I know who he is, and I am hoping he will write to me at my personal ID and be “Man” enough to confess. I have a confession of my own: I was so angry that I thought I would give it back to him in his own coin and write a hateful mail back to him under an assumed identity. What was I thinking, or not thinking? I hit upon the brilliant idea of stealing his own identity. I realize now it is not in my nature to do that — I wrote the comment at 302, wrote it at myself, and let it go through under commonsense.
I realize I am now open to all kinds of hateful messages by not only commonsense, but others like him. Good, I deserve it. When you try to be someone you are not, this is what happens. I have always known rationally anger and hate do not pay off, and I forgot this for a second. I gave in to my emotions — emotions of distress, and hurt and anger. I am me, not commonsense. Thank the good God for that.

I see that some of you have some misgivings about AB;s words of praise for the media and how it can be construed as changing sides and expecting EF to follow the cue.
I think that is extremely naïve to think so. Some facts that we all should be aware of
1. AB never tars the WHOLE of media with the same brush. His opinion on media is actually idealistic. That they are the conscience keepers of the nation and have a very important role in our system. Hence they should be truthful, diligent and thorough in their reporting.
2. Having said that, on a general level, he is indeed WARY of media because of the kind of press he receives.
3. His backlash is for the media that indulges in yellow journalism, which I think is justified.
4. His tirade against individual journalists is based on incidents or particular articles that he responds to. He doesn’t have a personal beef with any journalist. ( Except of course a few like Khalida) So it is not surprising that having responded to a article by a particular journalist, he can have good words for the same writer next time ( Shobha De for example)
5. Please do not infer that AB is against the media on the whole. He is just appalled at the quality of some in the business as general. We too should have the intelligence to make this distinction and not be herds due to a mistaken interpretation.
The media is not necessarily anyone’s enemy, just that the group IQ is kinda low. And that is coupled with enormous power that it wields in forming public opinion which makes it dangerous sometimes. It probably takes a AB to withstand that for so long. It would be prudent to use that power beneficially.

Sometimes OVER-DIPLOMATIC’ness’ or over modesty also goes against a personality & i think that is what is happening with you.
The media or fans in general would like to see the ‘real’ amitabh talk,speak his heart out, so when this does not happen from your side the diplomatic persona and over modesty goes against you.
I’m not saying go the naseerudin shah or nana patekar way, but i think a person of your stature should sometimes some out of the ‘diplomatic act’ closet.

They played together at Shardashram were having same coach.. they wer involved in long time record for school level cricket some 640 odd runs between them was recently broken by some two lads whose name I do not seem to remember.. it is all right..

That itself gives away the mean streak of the person. Second of all, khalid rose to editorship purely due to AB’s benevolence WHICH OFCOURSE, WAS A DIRECT PAY-OFF FOR CHAMCHAGIRI. Power went to khalid’s head exactly the way it goes to anyone’s head unless you’re born an aristocrat which neither K nor AB were. Then the power equation changed. Khalid was no longer of any use once he left Filmfare. The “exclusive and expensive” wine stopped flowing down to his end of the table. He began to criticize AB jr in print. By now he was just another bad director begging stars to do his films. He was crushed underfoot.
the khalid v/s AB story is like any love story in showbiz, politics or wherever the stakes are high. Truth can be bought very easily if you have wealth. Or friends who have it.

AB & Khalida have some personal grudge against each other, the real reason for which is not in public domain beyond the realm of speculation/gossip by all concerned or not concerned. I am not judgemental about either. Just saying that AB might have personal beef with a few journalists, & vice versa. So be it !!
Amit ji, why doesn’t Paa have a website? It would be great to have the promos, cast & crew, wallpapers and other info at one place. All movies have a website these days. In fact why doesn’t ABCL have a website of its own? I was really surprised by this because you seem to be so much tech-savvy. Probably the most tech-savvy person in the Indian film industry. Which is what makes the absence of an ABCL website and/ or a Paa website so surprising! Please do something about it. My best wishes to you for Paa. Balki is a super director and Chini kum was an outstanding piece of film making (and performance!) — so we are all excitedly looking forward to Paa.

You were on top form in today’s BB3, charismatic and vibrant and I loved the injection of wit and animated delivery style at times. Your exchanges with Raju are increasingly hilarious each week and worth tuning in for alone!
I had not watched any of the streaming beforehand, but those new entrants are indeed a strange twist at this stage. I agree with you it will be interesting to observe if they are welcomed with ‘open hearts and arms’ as the week unfolds because the housemates have only just established some level of familiarity. At least Vindu and Bakhtiyar are likely to become slightly territorial, being the volatile characters they show themselves to be. There could be trouble in “paradise” - I say that in the loosest sense!
And since you rather cheekily asked the lady who phoned in with a question, how you looked - I’ll assume the liberty of telling you - very radiant, incredibly well with a mischievous glint in your eyes that makes one want to know why its there!?! You looked toned and healthy too, perhaps you have been gymming and boosting those all important endorphins! Mr. Bachchan, if I didn’t know better, I’d think you enjoyed being lavished with compliments almost as much as we enjoy bestowing them on you!!
All this from someone who thought she didn’t enjoy the show - I AM only watching for you, I promise!
It looked like a fun episode and delighted the evictee was unlikely to be emotional about his departure during your interview.

I think Bak Bakhtiyar will be out followed by his wife. Yes, he is so insecure hence chose to sleep with the Mrs that night after the crap movie.
As I’ve said before, despite all their credits for previous creditionals, they are ordinary individuals. Nothing special. OK, Bak Bakhtiyar said a little regarding Ismails comments regarding the movies however so what !! If Ismail was so successful, he wouldn’t be in the house in the first place. So why is his nose getting so out of place.

Manish, I am pretty sure I know who it is. It is someone who has a personal beef with me, that much is obvious, as he singles me out when a lot of people do the same thing I do. He has not had the courage to write to me on my personal e-mail. Perhaps needs an audience when he is putting me down, maybe that makes him feel like a man, to bash a woman.
What can we do about such people? Nothing at all. I feel bad ABji’s blog is being defiled by such characters. If you are hurt, can you imagine how I felt at being the object of this person’s venom? But now that I have made up my mind not to engage with him any more, I only feel pity for him. I am only angry with myself that I stooped to his level by acknowledging his existence, and engaging with him.

The Promo of PAA has brought tears to my eyes , I am scared too what if we find the problem has been glorified by mainstream commercial treatment. You look amazing , I saw the TV promo too and saw you jumping and laughing was thinking, if actually patients of this disease have so much laughter in their life. Don’t get me wrong, I am eager to see the film, just a bit scared too, hoping to see an epic story this time. I work with special kids and believe me I have come across parents who burn their hyperactive child’s hand with burning charcoal, as they are unable to control him or deal with him , or hit their kid mercilessly as he comes close to them to hug or touch them repeatedly. Reality is too scary…so I was just wondering about the film too.

This is something unusual and unseen.I thank Mr. Balki for writing and directing a film on such an unknown topic. Being a part of the youth today films life “Taare Zameen Par” has made a remarkable change in the way I think.
“PAA” is one another film certainly with a different topic.
But I think that it would also be an Inspiring film, changing the approach of people towards the physically challenged individuals.
I am waiting to imaptiently to watch the movie.

Congratulations on your life time achievement ward and i am sure this is not the last one as there are many after the release of PAA. You have crossed all the limits and have shown the people that the word impossible is nowhere. PAA is one of the best movie i think I will be viewing soon and I am sure that will take the lead ahead of Agneepath and deewar performances as the character of a 13 yr kid to play that too of a 66 yr old man is the toughest. We havent seen the childhood of Big B but i guess you have shown us not only the glimpse but took us back to your childhood.

I still remember those days in early 80s when my friend used to be the first one to watch your film and used to tell me the stories. We couldn’t afford to watch back to back movies. So i used to create my own imaginations of your film and thought that I have seen your movie. Then I grew up and got into my teenage I had sent you a letter,keeping my faith that I would get reply from,all my friends made fun of me, But right after few days to mine and everybody’s shock I got a letter from you with your picture signed by your goodself. I thought what a way to connect with our superhero. But that was the gesture which brought me as person so close to you Sir.And today this blog makes me feel just sitting next you and chatting with you. My parents like everyone’s wanted me to be an enggineir or doctor but as destined,I got into job which quite related to fim industry and now when I have already moved to Mumbai recently a week back,,and been to your house atleast 4-5 times to see it from outside with a hope that I might be lucky to get a glimpse of urs,,but failed. Thats how the child in me has always called you. I have grown up trying to ape you in as many ways as I possibly could,from holding the toy gun (my father would purchase for me) in my left hand to tying to imitate the baritone voice. I always wanted to be like you-a dream perhaps of every fan of yours,grew up trying to be as tall as you. I would hang from the goal post-only ambition seemed to be to be tall like my daer Amit Uncle. and tall i did become. Today I am all of 40 years old, a very fast receding hairline but all of my physical structure at 6 ft 2 inches, but still continue to be as steadfast a fan of yours as I was when I was a child. Today I saw the still promo of Pa and once again the child in me dreams to meet my Amit Uncle in Flesh and Blood.
