Because HRH The CM of Kerala was slighted by this man who made the greatest sacrifice a man could make for the sake of his country. #@%#I@#)%*@#)%*@# #@ %@#%@# indeed. He said not even a dog would look at the father’s house. Ah the irony of it all - HRH The CM Of Kerala went all the way to Bangalore to this person’s house to score some brownie points - which shows what he really is. In his own words, he is worse than a dog. And that was not all. We saw the Great Indian Tamasha begin - RR Patil, Vilasrao Deshmukh, some two bit BJP loonybin not worth mentioning. Friends and fellow Indians, this is how our democracy falls. These are but the first signs, sights and sounds. This is how our democracy dies.
People like you in the Film industry and media have more power than any politician in India. You can start a powerful movement to demand answers from them or replace them if need be. It is shameful to see policemen in the frontlines using defective bulletproof vests and 100 year old rifles, getting massacred so often. You need to do something more than just make films about corruption and broken system. People of India and outside are eager to see and support someone in the forefront asking questions. Media persons like Pranov Roy and others have started it already. Don’t let it die…it will be too late, too soon….
Who cares if some hooligans break down doors of a movie theatre, somewhere, in protest…they will become irrelevant in no time.

Hello Sir,
Was busy so many days just watching the news and i feel absolutely helpless as I just cant understan what i can do to stop terrorism. Just to begin i am glad that these ministers are getting sacked out, i just wish i could see them somwhere and trust me I would slap them right on their face. Sir one request as Ram gopal verma is your friend and so is Ritiesh can you please tell them not behave in such an irresponisbile manner. What makes them visit the sight they should not have been allowed to as they are not in the forenic dept if they can go then even all of us can go , how will police do is job.
Sir I plead you that plsssssssssssssssssssss you have a lot of high connections so please take some initiative that this news and peoples anger dont disappear in few days, it just continues till we get justice . Please go on any channel you trust and tell the people your views or at least what we expect from the govt. Let us make a rally to the PM and express them what we want. If we don’t do anything now then we will do never and these attacks will keep continuing.
Please pour us some ideas on what steps should we take as you are so learned we all will support you. If any person has some ideas and requires any help please let us all know, I will do all what i can.

Yes….my thoughts exactly!!!!……rendered speechless or speaking albeit incoherently. Known to happen in cases of extreme shock and stress. Lots of thoughts but none can be voiced in a manner that wud make any sense so the use of sign language is quite apt. I am just shocked at our vulnerability……there seems to be nothing or no message that can be sent out that sends out a strong message. All symbolic gestures like lighting candles etc. loook good on film but are just useless and meaningless. Need a stronger message than candles. Sign language seems to be a start.
I have to tell you, though most certainly it wasn’t your intention…reading your last ‘ahem’ blog made me laugh out loud- thoroughly. Suffice it to say, that may not be unusual for me. I crack myself up sitting alone in a room with my thoughts.
After these past few days, it felt good to hear myself laugh like that.

But, I still believe that it is every citizen’s duty to do whatever they can do and do it in the right way, at the right time and with right force or stop blaming the politicians and shut-up forever.

went to have dinner in the Indian restaurant - the one I have mentioned before in my comment.
There was no any special ocasion for us to dine out which we actually rarely do.
We just wished to be somehow with Indians for a little support.
We were the only customers there that Sunday evening & we just sat quietly and had our dinner. The food was of an exellent quality & the service was very friendly…

well though i feel i have no right explaining things , but at the same time when emotions are running high in all , I would rather do my best as human to avoid any misunderstanding thru any of my comments.
See Pankaj, just like all I am an Indian too and am deeply anguished by what has happened. And also if you would have read my comments properly, I have the utmost respect for Mr Bachchan . He is my role model since my childhood and in fact that is why I wrote.
And I never did say we are disturbed by his not going abroad, all I said was comments like- those foreigners and their initiative- somehow is disturbing.
And it has nothing to do with Shahrukh or anyone- I personally do not like them- but even if it did . Its not about Shahrukhs or AAmirs or Muslims, in fact that is the whole point. We have the right to be angry about what happened to our countrymen, but in our anger why react on others.
I mean just like I am an Indian first, I am also human first. And all of us be it Muslim, Hindu, British, American ,Indian or any other class or color- we all are humans at the end created by one supreme God, and we all have to try to understand that , not only would peace come to india but to the whole world too.

Although Obama said he did not want to comment on the specific situation involving India and Pakistan, his tacit endorsement of New Delhi adopting the same policy was circumscribed by two caveats: first, let the investigators reach definite conclusions about the Mumbai carnage, and second, see if Pakistan will follow through with its commitment to eliminate terrorism.
”My administration will remain steadfast in support of India’s effort to catch perpetrators and bring them to justice. I expect the world community will feel the same way,” Obama said, in one of several references to the events in Mumbai that underscored the roll-out of his national security team in Chicago on Monday.
As expected, Obama named Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State, and retired marine General James Jones as National Security Advisor, in addition to retaining Robert Gates as Defense Secretary, among the three principals of his administration. The available options for us are
1) Attack Pakistan - This will weaken the democratically elected govt there and which will help the terrorists.
2) Attack Terrorist Training Camps
3) Gather intelligence on who is financing these operations both locally and internationally and go after them until all of them are finished.
4) Provide training to all Indian citizens on how to fight terror.
5) Create anti terror fund so that wealth patriots can contribute to it and can be used to modernize our police.
6) Dont vote for politicians who create divisions among society and also those who fail to act decisively against the criminals.
7) Do something.. dont just chat and blame someone else or expect someone else to take care of the current situation…

Where the hell is the great Raj thakrey we only get a few channels here in U.S but have not heard him on any of them he shud be ashamed and must never come out of his hole.
It’s not only the politicians but the the whole infrastructure, I felt disappointed when i read on TOI that it took 3 hrs. for the firefighters to get water to the burning Taj & a cop died even wearing a bullet proof.To top everything it took 9 hrs. for the brave NSG to reach to the location.

People like you in the Film industry and media have more power than any politician in India. You can start a powerful movement to demand answers from them or replace them if need be. It is shameful to see policemen in the frontlines using defective bulletproof vests and 100 year old rifles, getting massacred so often. You need to do something more than just make films about corruption and broken system. People of India and outside are eager to see and support someone in the forefront asking questions. Media persons like Pranov Roy and others have started it already. Don’t let it die…it will be too late, too soon….
Who cares if some hooligans break down doors of a movie theatre, somewhere, in protest…they will become irrelevant in no time.
It is too disturbing to see intellectuals, who can do something…instead, just blog at night, and go to work like rest of us, next day.

Was busy so many days just watching the news and i feel absolutely helpless as I just cant understan what i can do to stop terrorism. Just to begin i am glad that these ministers are getting sacked out, i just wish i could see them somwhere and trust me I would slap them right on their face. Sir one request as Ram gopal verma is your friend and so is Ritiesh can you please tell them not behave in such an irresponisbile manner. What makes them visit the sight they should not have been allowed to as they are not in the forenic dept if they can go then even all of us can go , how will police do is job.
Sir I plead you that plsssssssssssssssssssss you have a lot of high connections so please take some initiative that this news and peoples anger dont disappear in few days, it just continues till we get justice . Please go on any channel you trust and tell the people your views or at least what we expect from the govt. Let us make a rally to the PM and express them what we want. If we don’t do anything now then we will do never and these attacks will keep continuing.
Please pour us some ideas on what steps should we take as you are so learned we all will support you. If any person has some ideas and requires any help please let us all know, I will do all what i can.

Yes….my thoughts exactly!!!!……rendered speechless or speaking albeit incoherently. Known to happen in cases of extreme shock and stress. Lots of thoughts but none can be voiced in a manner that wud make any sense so the use of sign language is quite apt. I am just shocked at our vulnerability……there seems to be nothing or no message that can be sent out that sends out a strong message. All symbolic gestures like lighting candles etc. loook good on film but are just useless and meaningless. Need a stronger message than candles. Sign language seems to be a start.

I have just got off the phone and had an upset. I was in floods of tears when I logged in. Even when some loved one dies there is discord in a family. It upset me very much, hence the tears…

Yesterday after my day at work me & my husband, who is an American,
went to have dinner in the Indian restaurant - the one I have mentioned before in my comment.
There was no any special ocasion for us to dine out which we actually rarely do.
We just wished to be somehow with Indians for a little support.
We were the only customers there that Sunday evening & we just sat quietly and had our dinner. The food was of an exellent quality & the service was very friendly…

Behaviour of your politicians is just appalling. Here in North America we complain about our politicians. In the wake of Mumbai attack the way some of your politicians have showed their true color our politicians here are saints. Indian politicians who have power don’t give a damn about people, they just secure their coffers, safety & their needs & wants. India has progressed well because of hard working people not because of uneducated, selfish arrogant politicians. I hope all Indians come to their senses & see the truth for what it is.

Just had an idea so I thought Ishould pas it on to you…
If you could then could you personally or through someone send money to people out the that need help, I wish I could but I am not as rich as you but I do try as much as a I can. Could you please doo something… money, food , shelter they could do with anything at the moment and you do get a lot of money so even if you donate 1 films worth you’ll make up for it so please doo something because your small amount of money can make a big difference to someone elses life.

well though i feel i have no right explaining things , but at the same time when emotions are running high in all , I would rather do my best as human to avoid any misunderstanding thru any of my comments.
See Pankaj, just like all I am an Indian too and am deeply anguished by what has happened. And also if you would have read my comments properly, I have the utmost respect for Mr Bachchan . He is my role model since my childhood and in fact that is why I wrote.
And I never did say we are disturbed by his not going abroad, all I said was comments like- those foreigners and their initiative- somehow is disturbing.
And it has nothing to do with Shahrukh or anyone- I personally do not like them- but even if it did . Its not about Shahrukhs or AAmirs or Muslims, in fact that is the whole point. We have the right to be angry about what happened to our countrymen, but in our anger why react on others.
I mean just like I am an Indian first, I am also human first. And all of us be it Muslim, Hindu, British, American ,Indian or any other class or color- we all are humans at the end created by one supreme God, and we all have to try to understand that , not only would peace come to india but to the whole world too.
And while i say this i too know living abroad that ideally it doesnt happen , people do distiguish you out.And also I myself succumb to these emotions where I myself end up saying ‘these foreigners’. But then I try to remind myself that just cos someone else is being wrong- does that mean we become wrong too.I am not saying I succeed all the time but I do sincerely try not to forget that we all are one mankind
We have the right to be angry with our politicians and people responsible for not running our country right but why get angry with others .
In fact we shud understand that it is this anger at each other that finally leads to fight and non peace.
Thats all I had to say, and again wit hutter humility and limited understanding for I am no great achiever or a great human . SO I never have felt that I have right to tell anyone anything leave aside someone as great as Mr Bachchan. Just that we seek a world of peace thats all.

”My administration will remain steadfast in support of India’s effort to catch perpetrators and bring them to justice. In fact, Obama revealed that the Mumbai massacre topped the agenda of the new national security team at its first meeting Monday morning ahead of the public roll-out. He referred repeatedly to the tragedy at his press conference and said he had spoken to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to tell him that the United States is with India in this dark hour. ”India’s democracy is more resilient than the killers who want to tear it down,” he said.
Obama reiterated his stand that there was only one president at a time in the U.S as he trod a delicate line in setting any new policy. But he appreciated the actions taken by the Bush administration and keeping him informed about it. ”What I can say unequivocally is that both myself and my team are absolutely committed to eliminating terrorism,” he said. ”We cannot tolerate attacks based on twisted ideology of hate…we will bring the full force of our military, economic and diplomatic power to defeat this. I will be monitoring the situation closely.”

We all know the truth so why not give the damn evidence this time. What are we afraid of , that some corrupt ministers names will be exposed in the bargain. so who the f#@% really cares about these ministers any more. to save their asses these ministers are sacrificing innocent Indian lives. these power hungry, blood suckers, vote mongers should be thrown out of the country for good.

Stop inviting artisits from pakistan and put a complete ban on anybody coming from there and participating in Indian movies and tv programs.
Stop the abnoxiously repulsive diplomacy on all levels where India is always tolerating the nonsense from accross the border and pakistan carries on with their dual agenda.
Stop it now! India is bleeding. India is angry. India is looking for answers. Wake up Delhi before its too late!!!

I urge all Indians not to be naive. The politics is like a game of chess. Our enemies have made a move by this attack on India. Any move we now make will have take us to a position of strength and not weakness.
The available options for us are
1) Attack Pakistan - This will weaken the democratically elected govt there and which will help the terrorists.
2) Attack Terrorist Training Camps
3) Gather intelligence on who is financing these operations both locally and internationally and go after them until all of them are finished.
4) Provide training to all Indian citizens on how to fight terror.
5) Create anti terror fund so that wealth patriots can contribute to it and can be used to modernize our police.
6) Dont vote for politicians who create divisions among society and also those who fail to act decisively against the criminals.
7) Do something.. dont just chat and blame someone else or expect someone else to take care of the current situation…

I clearly agree with your emotions ,last 3 days it seems like i haven’t been able to think clear,u might say i don’t even live in India but only god can tell how much I wished to be the man in the uniform & be able to shoot these ba….s.
Where the hell is the great Raj thakrey we only get a few channels here in U.S but have not heard him on any of them he shud be ashamed and must never come out of his hole.
It’s not only the politicians but the the whole infrastructure, I felt disappointed when i read on TOI that it took 3 hrs. for the firefighters to get water to the burning Taj & a cop died even wearing a bullet proof.To top everything it took 9 hrs. for the brave NSG to reach to the location.
I must thank u very much that u provided us with a platform where at least we cud pour our hearts out and thanx for sharing your emmotions.

U.S. is sending C.Rice to india in their own interest and Not to help India in any way.The Pakistani troops are guarding their interest in Afganistan,and they are afraid that if we wage a war against Pak, with all the evidences, they will be at a loss.

I hope all is well with you. I can understand you’re frustration and anger. As I have been watching and listening to the events of what happened there it makes me angry as well. It also reminds me a lot of the aftermath of 9/11. I know the 2 events are not related but the feeling to me is the same. As I have been reading your entries over the last few days I can see how angry and frustrated you must be and I do believe that it is just for you to feel that way. I think it is great that you have chosen to share this with us on your blog. I always think of writing as a way to not only analyze my feeling but also as a way to heal and let my thoughts out rather than having them stay trapped in my head.

Dear Amitji, Raj Thackeary’s wife SMS is pathetic. Just look upon our history and time and again we indians have fight against ourselves and it has lead to unfortunate things like we lost our independence and was ruled by Moughals and Britishers for so long. It is the time that we should stand united. I feel very angry when i see Rajdeep Sardesai says that Mumbaikar is attacked instead of saying india is attacked. Raj Thakerays wife could not able to speak a word when terrorist is around
and now doing mew mew. I wish God bless them for spreading the hatred in the society. Wake up wake up wake up Takereys you should against the North Indians where are you now when the citi is attacked by the terrorist ? Be brave and lead from the front.
