    My dearest Mr Bachchan…

Got time for tea break?? You may have read some of them before but nothing wrong in reading them again! Ha! ha!

    Humurour Quotes:

    Robert Benchly
“It took me fifteen years to discover I had no talent for writing, but I couldn’t give it up, because by that time I was too famous !”

    Will Rogers
“The trouble with political jokes is that very often they get elected !”

    Oscar Wilde
“Always forgive your enemies — Nothing annoys them so much !”

    Jean Kerr
“I’m tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep. That’s deep enough. What do you want — an adorable pancreas?”

    George Bernard Shaw
“The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it !”

    Katherine Hepburn
“I don’t care what is written about me as long as it isn’t true!”
(of course as we know the Lady did lead a very controversial and free life! Almost as funny as her movies!!)

    Jack Benny
“I don’t deserve this award, but I have arthritis

    Tom Clancy
“The difference between fiction and reality?
Fiction has to make sense !”

(Ever read one of his books? He is a sort of a spy thriller fiction writer. His books are full of intrigue and mystery. I think he is good. I enjoyed reading “Bio-Strike”. Boys/men would probably prefer to read his books though….)

Acted up on your request to me and yes, I did check. Joie de vivre, you were the first to mention the correct date..and there was Subhash and couple of others after me, I think. Had a good laugh!

btw, when you were gone (sounds like a song, that!) there was a little alteration to our blogger status. We have been discouraged to interact on the blog and we are following that code of conduct reasonably strictly.. I don’t know what the others feel but for me it has worked out well as it has sort of released me from the compulsive desire to chat. And I am not late for work any more..:D

And I daresay, AB in his currently less energetic state has also had a release…from the 1000s of comments that became unmanageable to a more manoeuvrable one.

But it is good to see you and Naresh back. Just follow Reeham’s link and join us on our daily chats on Facebook. And I am happy to add you guys anytime…

    Salaam Mr Bachchan

This is a message for the Dostana team really - I didn’t know how to get in touch with them but I figured if I could get through to you, you could pass the message to Abhishek and he can feedback to the rest of the dostana crew, John, Priyanka, KaranJ, Tarun, Kiron Kher etc.

    The Movie was AWESOMEEEEEE!!!

Although the 1st half was better than the second half, (slowed down a bit with the Bobby angle and was a lil boring)
However regardless of this the movie was FANTASSSSSSSTICC!!!!
I live in sheffield in UK, and I went with my 4 cousins to watch the movie last night at the late showing, and my god it was a packed house!! It was FULL.

I’d just like you to know, that normally when I visit the cinema, throughout the movie, I tend to look at my mobile, checking the time, or for messages, I eat popcorn, have a drink, eat sweets and spend time getting comfy, and fidget here and there to get through the film… oh yeh and I once fell asleep throughout one film!! But OH MY GOD, THE 3 HOURS SPENT AT THE CINEMA HALL WERE… Mindblowing!

And I’ll also have u know, that normally wen ppl at the movies comment or talk throughout a film or laugh too loud it really irritates me and I have even on occasion told ppl to ’shut up’, but last night we, wen I say ‘we’ I mean me and every person there was Screaming throughout the movie… we were laughing so loud it was… not the ha ha kind of laughter,
… rather the lap slapping, tear jerking, head bowing, roaring kind of laughter !! WE WERE ON A HIGH!

I normally watch a movie, like it, or dont, and then forget about it and carry on with life, to be honest I dont go the cinema that much, but Dostana after watching the promos and trailer had to be watched at the Cinema!

Its a fantastic comedy, but not the Priyadarshan kind, the one where u can laugh and then forget about it, rather the laugh roar scream, enjoy, and stays with u kind, intelligent humour, cant get over it kind! I have just txt my cousins and asked them if they are available to go again tonite, and YEY, we r ! I never watch a movie twice at the cinema, but DOSTANA’S deserves a second showing!

I dont do this kind of this normally but I dunno y, after watchin Dostana, I felt the need to congratulate the whole team for this wonderful wonderful effort!

It was John’s and Abhishek’s movie all the way! ABHISHEK & JOHN U WERE EQUALLY FANTASTIC! cant chose who was better! I loved the way u act gay - the mannerisms, the attitude, the clothes ! EVERYTHING WOW
    !
John u r the sexiest guy on the planet and u I’m sure u know it. apart from dreaming about kissing every inch of ur body whilst watching the film, U ACTED EXTREMELY WELL !! LOVED UR GAY ACTING, I WAS IN FITS !!
    john - u were MINDBLOWING!

And abhishek fantaSTIC! U know wat abhishek it is so nice and a refreshing change 2 see ur do comedy after serious films like sarkar’s and drona and guru, dhoom and stuff. I am ur new FAN. KEEP IT UP! U WERE FANTASTIC!

And a massive thanks to Tarun, and Karanj for makin this movie, we definately applauded ur efforts in the cinema hall last night, and will do again tonite, lol

Priyanka WOW u look so hot! u normally look slender in ur movies but in this u have a bum!!! its Gorgeous!

It really showed u worked really hard on ur body and we loved u, esp in the maa da laadla girl version of the song at the end of the movie U looked SUPER HOT in that! U looked ur best. And also u acted very well as u do in all ur movies hun! In my opinion u r 1 title beauty pagent winning title holder, who is sexy, has a hot body, (esp in Dostana) sexy voice, can dance, has brains and a down to earth appeal, But most Importantly, U PERFORM!!! U CAN ACT! (without going over the top or looking fake, and making the audience cringe! so very well done!

JOHN ABHISHEK, I’M going to watch this movie again tonite bcoz of u both!

I normally hate writing so u guys r privelidged with these comments of mine !

OH yeh and Kiron K, wat can I say … apart from U always live up to ur name! NO-one can act like u do Kiron aunty.

AND THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE MOVIE APART FROM JOHN N ABHI’S KISS LOLLL WAS THE

MAA DA LAADLA track! Its freakingly AWESUM! its wat has been rocking my ears and IPOD for the last week!! The best track out all year! And by the way I think DOSTANA IS GNA BE THE BIGGEST HIT OF 2008 !

thanks to the Dostana team for making giving me 3 hrs of WELL WORTH IT rip roaring entertainment! BY FAR THE BEST MOVIE IN A LOOONG TIME!

    WELL DONE ALL!

thanks mr Bachchan, is it possible for u to email this to abhishek, and then for abhishek to email to john, karan, priyanka, kiron and the rest of the crew??

(i would really like them 2 read my comments if possible.)
please can u let me know if u were able to do this or not, either way.
    many thanks

Dear Amitji, When Chandrayaan took off we were all quite because of some sort of question mark that really it is a great event unfolding but how far it will go successfully. A small story will throw some light on our conflict that time.
A bunch of small children were playing in a street. They were just chasing each other and really did not have anything to spend. Say to buy a cheap ball or some sort of semblance to that. Suddenly they see a balloonwalla entering the street from one side.
It was a pretty good attraction for all the kids and they temporarily suspended their play and awaited the arrival of balloonwalla. Those children from the houses in the street who could afford bought the balloons and went home. The afternoon time the street was very much deserted and there was no one else other than these children.
The balloonwalla passed and casually enquired them but understood their plight from the blank faces that none had the money to buy a balloon. The vendor moved on unmindful of the children left behind.
A little distance down the lane and a balloon fell down. it was not windy and the balloon just rolled a few feet behind him and stopped. The expression on the faces of the children changed yet they looked at each other in dismay and all concentrated on the balloon. The distance between the vendor and balloon slowly increased and the children still silent watching what to do. The street corner approached and the balloonwalla turned right and would be now almost out of sight. However as the luck would have its turn the vendor from the extreme corner now looked back. In one corus all the kids shouted balloonwalla your balloon!!
The vendor returned picked up his balloon and walked on.
    Regards

    Ha ha…enjoying your blogging stint. No need to come out with these corrections. Life can never be a set of definitions, exact measurements….it would stagnant the very basic meaning of being alive. We do need having to live on a diet of metaphors and poetry at times….
