Los Angeles, USA         a Hotel,                   July 22, 2008               11:08 am

A long and tiring flight from Port of Spain, Trinidad, a hurried connection at Miami and then into Los Angeles past midnight. Surprised to see fans at the airport even this late hour, we get in after a longish drive to the Hotel and the comfort of home cooked Indian food, considerately and lovingly prepared by friends of long.

The internet is not connecting very well and experts from India and here in LA talk of some changes in upgrading taking place with MAC to ME… whatever that means !! Email is coming in through fits and starts, but it is still not sending. They say it will repair on its own and any attempt to change settings on Accounts will not help. They are right. It does not help.

Los Angeles. City of Angels. So many vivid memories linked to this place. Right from the very first trip with Shweta and Abhishek as toddlers, excited at the prospect of visiting DisneyLand to more recent years of shooting ‘Kante’ in the streets here to the various occasions on stage during concerts.

But by far the most delightful has been the time spent in recuperating after my 1982 accident, joined by the family later and then being driven by a friend to San Francisco along the highway than runs along the ocean. A most picturesque and beautiful drive. The quaint little towns that you encounter en route and nature’s breathtaking visuals.

There is much desired rest here for a few days, before we come on stage again. There is wear and tear to be given attention to and some frantic flying hours to be contended with. The thought of being idle is discomforting at times to me, but I pay heed to concerned individuals who advise care and caution.

I have some homework for me that I carry along. Pending scripts that need attention. Methinks I shall devote time to them. At times it is interesting to reflect where one was when an important decision was taken. I hope that when and if I do take one, I can proudly say ‘thank you Los Angeles for helping me make up my mind’ !

My decisions on films that I have done am doing and perhaps shall do in future, have always been led by factors that have been guided by what others feel about it rather than what I assess. I am terrible at that. Deciding what to do is a malaise with me, authenticated with grave finality through the zodiacs. Left to myself I would probably not be anywhere. I love and prefer being guided than to lead. So, temperament and attitude of makers, colleagues and well wishers carry all the burden for me in this quest of mine. Sometimes they work out fine. Most of the times they do not. But I still remain adamant and true to my Libran traits. I would still tolerate a bad decision for me than the rigors of self judgement. And my argument in defense is if I have survived so far and so long with these attributes, I would rather not change. God knows what change would do. Yet, I do acknowledge that quite unknowingly, it is change that has crept in somewhat quietly in my life and been reason enough for my survival so far. So in a sense I succumb to fate and luck and the stars and occult or whatever it is that guides us supernaturally. But surely, that cannot be the mantra for life. Life, through ages of sane and sage existence has extolled the virtues of karma. Do your karma. The rest will be taken care of. But everyone does his or her karma with equal diligence and effort and yet there is inequality. So what is it that pushes one forward and the other behind.

We have never been able to answer adequately on this. And when we have no adequate answers we rest back on and take refuge with, forces unknown and unseen. They could be manifestations of what or who we believe in in worship and prayer. Or they could be beliefs more practical. Somehow, somewhere we leave the final decision to another. If it is not happening to us there must be reason and cause for it and that that reason and cause is not to be questioned. If we had an answer, we would get a finite result. If we are not, then it is best left to infinity. Or divinity. Whoever gives us a decision !!

So. Do my travails with indecision rest somewhere in the above ??

What would you think ? Feel like sharing it with me ?

Much love and care and all else that is bright and beautiful, to you -

Amitabh Bachchan

    Dear Mr Bachchan

Being a fellow Libran, I am undecided about how to respond to your entreaty. I need time to consider it from every angle. But SOOOOO glad you are taking some time for rest and reflection - I am so joyful and relieved to hear this.

Meanwhile, I am very concerned about Rose C’s messages showering you with hugs and kisses! I say to Rose… madam, kindly remember the British Code of Social Conduct and National Reserve. New acquaintances must be greeted with no more than a formal handshake for at least the first five years :)

Mr Bachchan, you advise us on the dangers of global warming. But do you ever consider how you are over-heating a nation that has previously prided itself on its chilly disposition. You are a very dangerous man! :)

    Dear Amitabhji (GURUJI),

    !! ABOUT THE UNFORGETTABLE TOUR 2008 !!

Please consider Atlanta,GA location in USA because it is the biggest center for southeast USA and can cover all southeast states.

There are lots of Indians( and south Asians) in southeast USA and most concerts come here and always do well.

There is no nearby location for your concert. All locations are very far from here like New York,Atlantic City,Houston,Los Angeles,San Francisco, chicago etc.

So please consider Atlanta,GA,USA so the concert evenly spread out in the USA.

Not considering Atlanta,GA means you are missing out a big chunk of US audience.

I hope you will read this.

How well described ! I am a Libran too and I totaly agree with what you said “to be guided than to be leader”. I sometimes hate being a Libran due to the complex decision making process which we go through. Yet I love being a Libran because the decision we take most of the time is well thought through.

    Love you sir :)

i do believe in “good Karma”. i make mistakes and also get rewarded for my Karma. I learn my negatives and try to overcome those. It keeps me moving and hopeful.
i think abt past. i ponder on what went wrong or right. but true to my traits, i’d rather leave it to almighty :)

I would beg to differ on this line of yours
“We have never been able to answer adequately on this.”
There have been answers given by so called ‘great’ personalities. But human mind is such that it refuses to accept logical and philosophical reasons when it is attached to its result.
In one of my previous replies to to you, i have stated this instance:
“a crow alights on the cocoanut palm tree, and that very moment a ripe coconut falls.
The two unrelated events thus seem to be related in time and space, though there is no causal relationship.
    Such is life.
    Such is ‘creation’.
But the mind caught up in its own trap of logic questions ‘why’, invents a ‘why’, and a ‘wherefore’, to satisfy itself, conveniently ignoring the inconvenient questions that still haunt an intelligent mind.”
Ten people may do the same thing. But there are so many factors involved in it that the end result is never the same. Of these numerous factors, the most commonly spoken are the ones like “may his attempt was not whole-hearted or he was arrogant or he was late”.
We are so attached to result (both before starting the karma as well as after) that we refuse to accept reasoning. Thats why you say “No body has been able to answer it” when infact the answers have always been there.\
The basics of Life have always been stated in Hindu philosophy. Its only that we tried to make it complex but interpreting them to suit our minds.

    Dear Amit Sir,

So glad to read your comments. I read the last paras you wrote, many times, and was stunned.

I really, always wondered, if everyone do prayers, go to temples, pray to their gods or goddesses, why do some people get more success or failures than others..

Answers, may be unknown or may be in stars as many say, but, still,,, there are so many people born at the same time. why only a few of them shine?.. :)..

I think it’s a whole lot more than we could even think of and certainly beyond my ability to understand or explain. Only thing I can do, like you said too, is do my job, do my Karma and leave the rest to him or her.. I believe that’s the supreme power.

It was my pleasure to meet you on blog and hope to keep in touch with you..

    Regards,

Yes we all do our karma but the results are different. There are many other factors which affect the ultimate result. The final result is average of all our actions/deeds combined with karma. Basically at the end of the day if we dont hurt any body and our deeds are good along with karma–the result is bound to be good. Regards. kamal

    Dear Mr. Bachan

People have different perspectives when it comes to success. When you mentioned “what is it that pushes one forward and the other behind”, I would like to say that one has to understand what forward is, for example, for one moving forward may mean getting a new job, while for the other it could be time spent with one’s family. For some, helping needy people is moving forward, for others it is building equity and bank balance. So “moving forward” or “pushed behind” are very relative terms. Success cannot be measured as it is more mental then material.

I like what your father taught:

“Man ka ho to accha, man ka na ho to aur bhi accha”.

Congratulations once again on the success of the show!

  28. Shant Tripathi says:

    Bachchan Saab,

Every human being does his/her karma to succeed but not everyone tastes success as expected. So the question is why? We, human beings think that AGAR MANN KAA NAHEE HUAA TOU BAHUT BURAA HUA…..

GOD bestows two things - LUCK and FINAL DESTINY - on those, who HE thinks, would remain humble and simple no matter if they get succeed or not

Bachchan Saab, GOD bestowed those two things on you. Sachin Tendulkar is another example who, GOD knew, would be as humble and down to earth person as HE wants him to be.

You and Sachin (there are many others) are two examples of human being who value success and even after achieving so much, have remained humble and down to earth. Being humble and down to earth in the face of success serves well in the eyes of GOD and he makes sure that you two would get more success in anything or KARMA you two do in your field because HE knows you two would never boost of it or think of yourself as the greatest. Hence you two moved on, achieved greater success and made a name. So if a person is successful and he maintains his humility and simplicity, he is bound to achieve more success and fame through his KARMA

But if a person who becomes successful tends to feel superior and treats / think of other humans as inferior, then that person’s days of success are numbered and one fine day that same person would become a common man as any other human. Vinod Kambli is one example I can give

So you see those who are simple and humble get the desired fruits of their KARMA and move to greater heights but those who acquire inflated ego after a few successes in their life, are bound to get deflated later and lag behind no matter what KARMA they do.

    Dear Amitji,

Wishing you adequate rest and relaxation amidst your hectic tour around the globe. While you are away from home, we just had a remarkable day in our parliament’s history, and thankfully Dr. Manmohan Singhji can go ahead with the nuke deal. Am certain you too must have kept an ear on all this.

On a particular note this time I read that you have focused on indecisiveness, and or the fear and uncertainties associated with it. Am more than assured on this issue that more than each one of us shares similar feeling. Some have it sometime, and some most of the times. Some like you are humble enough to accept it and many do not want to admit it and still a larger number would never realise it to be happening to them.

Am happy to read the flow of your thoughts on questions that puzzle your mind about leading, being guided, the connection with the supernatural, and yet the unexplained answers to all these.

Thank you for asking us to share with you , then here is what crosses my mind as i sit and ponder on lines alike you.Allow me taking excerpts from your blog text.

“I love and prefer being guided than to lead”

However, the important thing in my view is the question : Guided by whom?? As you rightly said your friends, colleagues, well wishers bear the burden and their decisions more often do not work out to be right. Why rely on uncertainties? Why not find the one who will always always lead us to the Truth? And once you’ve found the one, you can be rest assured of the perfectness of decisions made thereafter and walk in the path freely.

“But everyone does his or her karma with equal diligence and effort and yet there is inequality”

Truly, in my perspective, you have asked the question of a lifetime. For as much as I have found, Inequality will continue to prevail when the measure of standard is Karma. However the true parameter that can ever be used to distinguish one from the other should be character. A character of righteous and truthful intent, guided by simple faith in a great God.

“Do my travails with indecision rest somewhere in the above” ??
Yes, amitji they certainly do and you have answered it yourself ”

“They could be manifestations of what or who we believe in worship and prayer”.

So.. that’s it for now, wishing you good again in your quest.

    Love Always

  39. Monish Aggarwal USA says:

    Dear Bachchan Saheb,

I cant believe you are saying that you are indecisive? you are such a winner in whatever you do… that definitely cannot be a trait of an indecisive person. I always thought and still believe that indecisiveness is for people who lack confidence and fear risk and/or responsibility, but you seem to be so far from these negative traits.

Well, sometimes indecisiveness also comes from stress and can harm the way one’s brain functions and makes them incapable of making decisions. I guess you may be more stressed out rather than lacking confidence or fear of taking risk/responsibility, as you carry yourself so well and your personality is so awesome that it is really hard for me to believe that you are indecisive in your real life. Seems so far from the truth (shows how good of an actor you are! just kidding!!)

anyways, hope you get over your indecisive nature as it is never too late to CHANGE. Remember, the only permanent thing in this world is CHANGE and you do show signs of CHANGE what with adapting to the new trends and technology with the changing times. Blogging is a prime example of how you have adapted to CHANGE.

Indecisiveness consumes your thoughts until you choose one outcome over the other, and even then may continue to harass you as you worry whether you made the right choice. Certainly, indecision is frustrating for the indecisive person. But that’s not all. Being indecisive also affects those around you. Your coworkers, your spouse, your family and friends are all influenced by your decision-making, or lack thereof.

Indecision is a silent enemy that steals many opportunities, says Caterina Rando, MA, MCC, a success speaker and author of the book “Learn to Power Think.” That’s because your wavering decision may be overcome by someone else’s quick thinking. Or, you may be so distracted by the very thought of “What should I do?” that you miss out on opportunities that come your way.

So Mr. Bachchan please don’t loose any opportunities (its hard to believe that you may have lost any!) as there are many self proclaimed kings out there who are ready to snatch the opportunity from right under your nose. So be alert and be decisive for yourself, your family, your career and your fans.

Have a Blast for the rest of UNFORGETTABLE TOUR
    Good Health Always

Ticket master is not selling the floor tickets from row 1 to row 11, these tickets are to be sold by the video store whose name shows up in all publicity material and I keep checking with him every day but tickets have not arrived yet. They should have arrived by now, less than a month is left. I hope they arrive soon and you shall notice me in fourth row.

Sir—regarding today’s post— I read a quote by Mahatma Gandhi, he said “Everything you do in life is insignificant but it is important that you do it”. I really liked it and it does make sense. I just wanted to share with you, it is somewhat related to what you wrote today.

    बाबूजी ने भी लिखा है– जीवन अंत मैं सफल से सफल आदमी को भी निराश छोड़ जाता है.

I guess all we could do is do our best and leave the rest on him.

I rec’d an e-mail from Rosy Singh but I am still waiting for the final one with a decision, which she assured me that she will get back to me soon.

With lots and lots of respect Sir— Deepak from Vancouver Canada

  43. Rifq says:

They say karma follows us in birth and rebirth. I’m not sure I believe in life after death and all that, I’m still a bit fuzzy on god, religion and beliefs attached to the same. But I do believe in a power above us…. a power that is beyond our control. I also believe that we pay for our sins in this lifetime.

So whenever I put in, what I feel is my best, and don’t get what I expected, I do spend time reflecting on myself…and what I could be lacking. I find that sometimes it has nothing to do with what concerns me at present. A small incident…. I gave up substance abuse in all forms about a year and half… almost two years ago… and two months later fell terribly ill… I still lapse in and out of the long-term effects of my illness. It hindered my life for about 8 months and then I decided I couldn’t let it take over my life… so life goes on and I try not to let it come in the way of things. Sometimes I wonder (mostly when jokes are made of it) that maybe if I started drinking again I would be as healthy as I used to be. But the constant belief, that it’s something bigger that I have to get out of my system or something greater that I have to deal with, keeps me away from it. I think the introspection goes deeper…and at some levels have helped me deal with a lot of other issues that in time could have led to damage on a larger scale. So I suppose it’s that belief that keeps me going, as I’m sure a lot of other people.

In the end, I guess what I really am trying to say is that, our belief structures is what helps us make our decisions and move on… I don’t think it’s a convenient way out or a refuge because in my case, it’s been the understanding of its existence that has helped me strive on. I also think that’s where the inequality comes in as well, if you don’t try and understand yourself and what brought you to a certain point in time (be it good or bad) it becomes difficult to move forward and you get stuck. If we did get finite results all the time…. what would we ever take away with us at the end of our existence? What would we have more than what we started out with… nothing!!!

All the best for the rest of your trip. Glad to hear it’s going well. Obviously your belief structures and introspective glances are playing to your strengths.

Mr. Bachchan, I hope you must be enjoying your world tour. I happen to be a true believer of “Karma”, but then many a times I find this theory have many limitations…according to Karma beneficial effects are derived from past beneficial actions and harmful effects from past harmful actions, in short what u reap what you bow….but then when I hear a 7 yr kid is raped and brutally murdered then I failed to apply this theory, what was her fault???..Sometimes I believe you inherit these credits ( positive or negative)…so if you have done good things your children will be blessed but then again what is the fault of an infant whose father happen to be a murderer, and he/she has to bear his credit??? And children from same biological parents are diametrically different????
I have thought many times about these not equilibrium thing in mankind…like
Why should some be blessed, and others cursed from their births?
What is the cause of the inequality that exists among mankind?
Why should one person be brought up in the lap of luxury, endowed with fine mental, moral and physical qualities, and another in absolute poverty, steeped in misery?
Why should one person be a mental prodigy, and another an idiot?
So many questions, but at the end I conclude with…

  45. Sush says:

Most people, specially where I live-here in the west, use the word “Karma” without understanding its full meaning. Karma is made of 2 parts - ” Prarabdha” and ” Purushartha” . Prarabdha - is the reaction of actions we have done in the past ( which could even exist from previous lives) sort of what we call fate. In simple terms - when a situation occurs in our life and we say ” Why did this happen to Me?” - thats Prarabdha. But most people are’nt aware of the later part of Karma. Purushartha - is your attitude towards that situation. This attitude becomes your action (karma) for today and would then, in turn lead to more reactions in the future. Its like throwing pebbles in a lake. Each pebble creates a ripple and each ripple leads to another one.

It is this ” Purushartha” that determines whether a person is pushed forward or left behind. In the west, they say - Its not the situations that arise but how you react to them that matters. This was explained ages ago in our scriptures, through the theory of Karma. So, the reason for your indecisiveness on the scripts could be ” Prarabdha” but not taking a decision is also a decision :) ha. And whatever decision you make becomes your purushartha which results in other ” effects” - like Box Office Hit or Miss ! :) Hope this explains a little . :)

    Love,

    Sush

Pardon me Mr Bachchan, but your attitude is defeatist. I’d have understood your approach to life if you adopted it only at this phase of your life when you’ve “been there done that”; but to learn that you’ve led all your life being guided by zodiacs and other similar things is very discouraging.

You may very well say that it’s your life and you are free to do what you want to do and that’s perfectly correct; however, you need to be sensitive to the fact that you are almost Godlike for most of the bloggers here and they take all that you say very seriously and very literally. You should encourage your fans to write their own destiny rather than be guided by stars.

Performance of Ash & Abhi was shocking. They were not really into the performance. Mostly in all of their performance/songs it was feeling that they were taking the audience for granted. Majority of audience around me including myself was complaining that Ash and Abhi are just neglecting the audience.

For e.g. while the chorus dancers were dancing extremely well & music was going on too fast, they were just standing in the middle of their performance talking to each other.

Akshay Kumar, Vishal-Shekhar and Ritesh were really serious about their performance and they did the great job.

    Dear Amitabh ji,

I have met you on a few occasions and was even fortunate to have presented to you the Key to the City of Atlanta during your maiden (debut) visit to Atlanta, USA many years ago. My name is Subash Razdan.

We have a lot of respect and regards for you. Your contributions towards humanity, culture, cinema are monumental. Your caring demeanor towards your fans and for elders (kindly recall, you vacated your seat for my father in Atlanta when he had come to say hello to you while you were having dinner) is noteworthy.

I am glad you have started this blog and I hope I will get a response from you for my email.

My email is in reference to the appalling bribing incident to influence the Members of Parliament during the saga of Trust Vote in the Lok Sabha. This bribing of the MPs for abstention and/or vote for the UPA to stay in power was a shameful event the world witnessed on the TV. One tv station covered this up with the video of Mother Teresa for that short duration. This was a sorry reminder of Bofors of the past. The center of attraction or the eye of the bribery volcano seems to be your soul brother Amar Singh. For a moment, I would like to assume that he is innocent till he is proven guilty.

However, my appeal to you is, considering the stature that you have achieved for the good of India, what do you plan to do to help bring the truth to the world on this account. Also, would you walk that extra mile to let the world know, whose money was being reportedly distributed by your loyal friend Amar Singh, if there is any truth to the allegation.

You can easily dodge the bullet of accusation against Hon. Amar Singh by the rhetoric that let the investigation ( as the Speaker did ) take its own course and that you have nothing to do with this considering you were out of country, in the USA and understandably so. However, looking at your honorable and giant stature in the world (and your close association with Mr. Amar Singh), we would hope you will help let the truth be told to the world (and not take the 5th amendment as they say so in the USA, particularly when the person in the center of this storm is your most loyal friend Amar Singh). He apparently has no remorse and continues to condut himself in his usual political and uncanny demeanor. We, in the USA, have been shocked and stunned by such embarrasing scenes on TV in the recent Lok Sabha debate and in fact ashamed to be associated with such immorality, even if remotely.

Have a wonderful and a successful “Unforgetable” trip to the USA.

    Best wishes.

    Subash Razdan

    Dr Bachchan

You quote, “Do your karma. The rest will be taken care of”. I think it should be “Do your karma as per your dharma and dont be bothered about (do not think about) the results”. The subtle difference actually changes the meaning quite a lot.

In practice, If I would ask myself, who am I? If I am an actor, then next logical question is what is the dharma of an actor. Now if answer to that question is that as an actor, my primary responsibility is to enact “as if I am that character of that story” then the first job is to do that. If however, I say I am entertainer+actor, then….entertain while you act etc etc. Infact an individual can have tens or even hundred roles. The hierarchy of precedence in case of conflict is as per Ramayana…from society to individual.

But most of this frankly is bullocks. So Chill and have a nice time without getting confused and do what you have been doing. You are fabulously successful already!!!

  59. daisy m says:

    Dear Mr Bachchan

Your questions are far too interesting and complex to be answered here, let alone by me. But they have been occupying my mind and provoked some instinctive responses.

Firstly, if you let your choices be guided by others, then whose voice do you choose to listen to? They cannot all be saying the same thing.

The old saying is “the wheel that squeaks loudest gets oiled”. What are the motives of those who clamour the loudest? Who are the people who hope to influence the decisions of others - and whose interests do they have at heart. Does the quiet voice of reason, and of unselfish love, get drowned out by the clamour of opportunism?

Your self-analysis is deeply touching, and I suspect many of us find it psychologically easier to let others take decisions for us, and reserve our efforts for obeying their commands. And yet I also sense that you do have extremely strong instincts that would serve you well, if you could take a leap of faith and obey them.

I wonder what the process of thought was that enabled you to take on “Black” with such fervent conviction, and devote so much passion and so many of your precious resources to what was on paper an extremely high risk project with little promise of reward. I am sure it was not simply the charisma of Mr Bhansali alone.

Baz Luhrmann is fond of quoting the saying “A life lived in fear is a life half lived.” While we are in the mood for introspection, this has certainly been true of me. But I see you as a man of exceptional courage in so many ways. It’s so easy to say, and so hard to do, but if you could just be true to yourself … no further “truths” would be needed from the rest of us.

How fervently I wish we could assist you with scripts. Firstly in achieving miracles, so that some great ones reached your reading pile. The greatest single tragedy in the film industry worldwide, is the lack of respect for scripts and for screenwriters, and the rarity of original, intelligent, powerful or moving works.

Secondly, in urging you, to seize any script that calls out to your instincts. I am sure you will continue to make many films aimed at pleasing audiences, but for all our gods’ sakes please please PLEASE try to make films that please you - and then they will overwhelm us. Everyone is at their best when doing something they love and believe in, and we need to see you at the peak of your powers.

    Love, Daisy

    Dear Amitji,

I’m touched by your philosophical side. A man can be Intelligent, clever, street smart, seasoned etc etc and then he can be philosphical. Its the food for the soul. You become more aware of your soul. Our saints have said that our soul doesnt age with the number of years we have lived ,but by the number of lives we have lead in numerous births.
I’m a great admirer of writer ‘Paulo Coelho’ & i believe in his line from the book ‘ Alchemist’ that if we really want something ,the universe conspires for us to have it. And i do belive in Karma. Its like the balance sheet of life. Every small thing gets balanced in our accounts. But we in our culture & beliefs always have excuses - Something not fulfilled now ,shall be fulfilled in next birth or things terrible wrong now are due to previous births. I dont know how much is it true or pacifying.
The beauty of the human race is that it always hopes for the better , no matter what. Lots of atrocites & Mishappenings & unjustice have come in the journey of human civilization but still we have managed to pe positive in the midst of these uncertainity. As energy can never be destroyed , this positivity is great force, its the manifistation of all are emotions n prayers. Its god that is protectiong us.
Now i can say, i feel confident & positive doing a bungee jumping , meeting lovely people , bringing smile in lives of unfortunate, or just perfoming my work. We are fulfiling the same purpose everyway - being positive or being one with God. its what we do defines our Karma. So one feeling good about doing his job completely and one praying for 2 hrs is same.
So after all this understanding, still its haunts my mind, Why such uncertainity , who is taking decesions in my life, other then me? Are we a part of some random cycle and we do our prayers to protect ourselves. sometimes we are lucky sometimes we are not. There is so much action going in the universe among galaxies & stars , so its obvious our lives can be unpredictable too. I feel something is beyond Karma.
I hope You read what i’ve written whenever you have time. I liked & agreed to you last para very much.

    Good Morning Sir,

Good to know that this time your bags aren’t missing!!

Well without wasting much time I would come to the centre of today’s blog…”KARMA”!

Aptly mentioned by you many things/incidences are questionable if related to theory of Karma..like.
-The most hardworking people are the coolies, workers on road construction sites, or ”hamaals’………they work the most just to lie hand to mouth on the contrary a CEO of some MNC just signs some documents made by others, checked by others and presented by others…and take lacs n crores in packages!!!How is this justified as per Lord Krishna’s Karma theory????

Sometimes we accuse past lives for present’s miseries….how it can be justified…if a person was a dacoit in humans or lion in animals……..how can he have noble deeds even wishfully……..and for the same why his present Janma is suffering…this is a new body…new identity….new life!!! HOW AND WHY??

I think Karma…..is a must but wat matters is fate or the astronomical factors!

Amitabh Bachchan put his same efforts in Deewar,Agneepath as Jaadugar,Toofan……why later names failed misserably……Why an icon had to ask director for work???Why people said that no more Amitabh post Mrityudaata phase !!!unanswerable facts!!

I also beg to differ that Gods help the one’s who are good………as most of the times innocents face the brunt……….

Universe is mystical……….Divine is mystery and so are the activities of the same……..No Logics,No explanations No why/how applicable…..just the verdicts….PURE VERDICTS!

But we humans need someone to take the onus of our failures and solace in bad times saying”is mein kuchh achha hoga”,infact God is found in these 5 words as the same give hope in life’s stormy days and the will to get going…..!!!!

Ok back from cosmic conversations…:) How is everything sir,plz put some pics if possible…Good day to you!!!

    Amit jee,
    Charansparsh !
Tajmal was built under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
Over 1,000 elephants were used to transport building materials during the construction.
A labour force of twenty thousand workers was recruited across northern India.

Tajmahal is known by the name of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan & wife Mumtaz Mahal.
But do we remember/know the names of each and every twenty thousand workers. And do we know the Mahauvat of thousand elephants.
But as per your question there was Karma involved.
I say : Life is a book written/directed by - “How I wonder who you are”
I always say : Where was our Karma when we were child.
Were we aware of who is going to feed us?
Were we aware of getting milk?
Were we aware of our clothes?
Were we aware of the place we are living?
No. Absolutely not. But the day we are aware we are on this planet earth and know our surroundings/boundaries, we started questioning. We started saying Yes, I am this because of my karma. I am that because of my karma. And if things are not positive then we start blaming something else or purva janam.
But the truth as per my vision is : Life is a story and we are tools to play our part but there is a guiding force who compel us to do what the power thinks is right for us or for the guiding force plans.
Now the question is then why we human got “Brain”
It is just to confuse us.
We should remember that without major power-station transformers do not work.
And the most important : If there is karma why we took 7/9 months to birth and why suddenly we die one day. If there is karma why I am born here. Why not somewhere else. Where was my karma before I was born ? When was the question of karma arrived ? The time when I was in teens ? Why not when I was kid ?
    The reply is : Destiny.
Gujar rahi zindagi kuch is tarah se, jaise ki ise manzil ki talaash hai…
    :)
    ShubhRatri !

The best thing that I find in your blog is that you interact with the audience and even the people who write comments are cool as they write appropriate things rather than adusive language(which I have read in other blogs).
Neways coming back to your post…I somewhat agree with what you have written but if I speak for myself, I love taking my own decisions. Atleast that gives me a sense of relief that whatever happens later on, I am solely responsible for that. If something gud happens that happened coz of me and if something went wrong, that was just coz of me and no one else. Fortunately God helps me in my decision
